Description
An update of nlight's First-person camera! Also:

  • a fix for the light flickering issue when following a vehicle/pedestrian.
  • adjustable vehicle camera offset positioning
  • increased field of depth options for a more "isometric camera"-y feel ( reduce field of depth value, and use boformer's LOD toggle mod for best results )
  • Depth of Field( blur effect ) toggling
  • Depth of Field( blur effect ) focus adjustment (use scrollwheel to set focal distance!)
  • Remove dependency on HideUI mod (seemed to have some issues resetting the camera after leaving )
  • Draggable Camera Button

Errors: I can only look into bugs if the commenter has included their output_log file, thanks!

Important!
The old mod should be unsubscribed automatically If the mod isn't working, check to see if your output_log.txt contains the error: "MissingMethodException: Method not found:'NetManager.RayCast'." . If it does, it means you're still running on the old mod!

Love this mod. I don't get any errors or problems, not sure what other reviews are talking about. I've discovered & fixed so many problems through following my tourists around with this. Love exploring my city like The Sims!

You microsofted this mod. Why did you have to change it? Now it's not even a first person mod. It's a flying mod.

@tony56a - Can you tell, if it should be possible to look left, right, or move further back from the vehicle/person you are "driving as"?
Currently I can only see straight ahead, stuck to the "front bumper of the car" or "forehead of the person" I follow.

not sure if it was the previous version of this mod, but i remember having a camera mod with these features BUT ALSO the abillity to automatically switch the object in focus when that object would not be a choice anymore.
for example, following a car, it goes out of map and mod would automatically focus on a different object (vehcicle or pedestrian) because that one wasnt valid anymore. same example for a service vehicle if it despawns from map when entering the service building, etc.
hope i make clear what i mean by that, and wondering if this could be something possible to implement on your mod also? maybe adding an extra hotkey for that particular function?
letting it choose automatic a random pedestrian or vehicle could allow it to work almost as a cinematic camera in the city ground level. and not only when an object despawns or goes out of the map, but maybe also after a set timer it could change to a different focus object.

The game sees this as an asset and I can't active it through the content manager, what do I do to use this?
