Description
Phoenix International Raceway is a 1 mile "flat" oval. It has 5 different corners.
It is a conversion from an original scratch built track for Stock Car Evolution. (rFactor 1)
The racing surface has been reworked, adding support for Realroad, and adding banking on the apron.
The AI works well here in the Stockcars. 100% works well.

This is a fill in track until a new 3PA track becomes available (Possibly up to 2 years)

Comes in 2 versions. A League version, with pacecar exiting track late before race starts. And an AI version with fast AI that will give you a run for your money.

There are some graphical issues, lighting issues, but the track drives beautifully.

v1.75 update
Grip changed to 1.0

v1.60 update
Fixed a bug where AI/Multiplayer would not start a race.
Pacecar release endpoint moved back to correct place.
Speed limit adjusted back to correct speed. 45+5 (50mph)

v1.50 update
Disable cut track (as per Mountain Pk Speedway)
As fields were approaching 30, online racers were starting to get cut track penalties in error.
Pacecar release endpoint moved as close to finish line as possible. To avoid lap up/lap down penalties common in online races when yellows come out while drivers are in pit lane.
Adjusted Speed Limits to 2018 Specs

v1.4 update
DX11 Textures added
Dynamic reflection code added
Fixed some realroad textures missing alpha reflections layer
Concrete walls use correct material. (Will have correct drag when hitting it)
Safer walls use correct safer material. (Will have correct drag when hitting it)
Large icon replaced with correct icon
TDF Roughness added to bring track to life
Startman added
Missing objects in mirrors added
Yellow line pit entry and exit
2018 Loading screen updated to 1.4

v1.20 update
Fixed lighting brightness and lightglow flickering
Fixed yellow lights
Went back to one AI for online and offline. Both work well.
Went back to single fastest line instead of 2 lines.
Fixed cutting on all the corners.
Added pit exit lines to after dogleg

v1.00 is first release

There is also a setup for Phoenix there to download. Not sure how fast it is. We raced there recently and that was the stable, but not necessarily fast setup. Great for offline racing though.

The mod I was using was DaREALMastaD's 2019 NASCAR mod. It comes with a variety of "upgrades," basically different aero and engine packages. I'm not sure if it would be in the track files or the car files, but somewhere in there the mod forces the use of a road course package around here, which is a symmetrical setup and makes the right tires explode over the course of a run. I would be willing to help out and try and see what is going on, but I have no real experience with anything that serious in rF2.

Can you specify the car mod you are using. It has been working for years with ISI 2015 stockcars, 2016 Skins Mod, Xfinity Series.
My guess is the NASCAR 2019 mod has an error for the track.

Hi Machine, The track is fantastic, but somewhere deep in the files of the track it must be set as a road course or something of the sort as the Road Course configuration for stock cars is forced, with no way of resetting the upgrades without trying to get into the deep files and changing some settings (which I have heard is very difficult to pack and unpack). Are you able to have a look? Problem was found when running the NASCAR 2019 mod. Thanks!

I know, thanks anyway, great job.

Sorry, I don't do road courses, I am a Nascar Guy. Plus making road courses is not my thing.

Thanks a lot for this one, love it. I know it´s not going to happen but dreaming is free, the road track of this one would be amazing.
Cheers.

All I can say is yes. But life has me busy at the moment.

Hello! New to the game and I love this track, but is there any chance the track config will get updated with the new start finish line?

Hello, has the track been hard to make since the 397 takeover of RFACTOR2? When is the new UI coming? DX11 makes some DX10 versions of the track look unnatural. Is there any good idea?

The AI version went out long ago. Or rather the online version went, and the AI version became the only one. AI stuff has not been touched. Not sure why they run out. They should get 70+ laps. Anyway, the AI are dumb as, and will pit after only using 1/4 of a tank in some cases. At any track.
