Blackmarket Usage

This mod is working fine in WotC!

Displays possible usage of items on the blackmarket sell screen.
No more wondering whether you still need Advent Trooper Corpses.

Data is gathered dynamically, so modded items, costs etc should show up as well.
This is compatible with Long War 2 and all the stuff it adds. Lists might get
a bit long for more common resources.

Only shows items of your current research level.
This can be configured using the Mod Config Menu mod.
If you don't want to use that and instead change this the old fashioned way,
run the game at least once, then edit:
Documents\My Games\XCOM2\XComGame\Config\XComBlackmarketUsage_Settings.ini

Valid choices for the ShowSpoilers option are:
  • "Don't show" = only show items from your current research level
  • "Show" = show everything you have not researched/built yet
  • "Obfuscate" = obfuscate what will be shown by displaying unresearched tech/gear as '???'

Thanks to Robojumper for fixing some performance issues and
BlueRaja for adding Mod Config Menu Support.

I just completed a WOTC campaign with 104 mods including this one. It all went well.

I understand it can be difficult, if not impossible, to take into account every mod. One thing that did not show for me was that mec wrecks could used to make sparks when using Mechatronic Warfare. Another was when using the Bio Class which uses corpses to gain abilities. I find this mod very useful.

Some great Mod Troubleshooting advice.
That recommends the excellent Community Mod Launcher [github.com], which everyone who uses mods should be using.
This guide gives some more detailed advice on using the Community Mod Launcher: Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all
If you've just switched from the Firaxis Launcher, or are forced to use it, read the "Mods not activating/deactivating properly in WOTC" section of Mod not working? Mods still have their effects after you disable them?
If you're using the Community Highlander then read its specific troubleshooting advice [github.com].

Doesn't work for me, unfortunately.

Is there a way to get this working with controllers? Other mods like Detailed soldiers list work perfectly fine, but this one sadly doesn't.

Works fine.

The launcher is giving me a "not compatible, but only content changes" warning. Does this mod still work?
