Development Continues!
VR Support

I'm very eager to add VR support to Arkaia. I have a devkit with which to test, but as it stands I am focused on finishing it up and releasing it as a traditional non-VR title first. After release, I'll start work on VR support which will be added to the game as a free update down the road a bit.

Thanks for your interest, and thanks for your patience!

Thanks for your support!
Release date: Summer 2016
Arkaia is an indie first-person adventure game for PC, Mac and Linux. Piece together an original and epic story while solving puzzles and exploring an interesting and fantastical environment.

Arkaia is planned to be released in an episodic manner, starting with "The Enigmatic Isle" and eventually at least two more chapters in order to complete the story.

Arkaia is really a love letter to the Myst games that we hold very dear. Myst and its sequels set the standard for immersive, challenging experiences, and we will never forget the feeling of exploring those Ages! So we decided to make an homage to those amazing games, while presenting a fresh new narrative that is sure to hook you.

So come into the world of Arkaia, and feel free to look around…

Hi josiah1221, happy to report the project has not been abandoned! It's a common saying that the development of any game is broken up into two phases: the first 90%, and the second 90%. Arkaia is in the second 90% :) I've been polishing and bugfixing and trying to get all the loose ends tied up. It's taking longer than anticipated, but I hope to be done soon. Thanks for your interest!

I was a huge fan of Myst and can't wait to see what your game has to offer as far as a trip down nostalgia lane goes!

The Myst series changed me for the better and I look forward to even a few hints of that sort of experience.

I was a huge fan of the Myst series back in the day. Even read the books. Sadly, never finished the last couple games...still on my long to do list. Gave you a YES vote, as I'd love to see this genre live on. Congrats!

looks good but adding the name ark will not help you get hits. you will be drowned out on google because of other ark named games. i suggest a more unique name.

Looking great! I presume from the movie that it's pre-rendered spots (panoramic or Myst/Riven-style slideshow?) with walk-movies connecting the individual locations?
