Description
UPDATED: December 17th 2016

Welcome to WickWillow! Begin your survival in the South and venture North to find rare materials as well as dangerous Dinosaurs. A Biome focused Map giving each area a set of unique ups and downs. Find which resources/dinosaurs you live with best. Test the waters if you dare.

You experienced all of WickWillow Island, now find your way through WickWillow. Hope you like it!

Recommended View Distance: Epic

(Some rocks can only be seen with a View Distance of Epic due to the current rendering issues, this will be addressed in the future).


**There may be heavy lag within the first 10-30 seconds of loading the world. This is normal.**


Map Progress:

Percentage is hard for me to say as there could always be more work put into it. For what I'd intended to do from the start I'd say it's currently at about an 85% finish and that mostly leaves finishing beaches/ adding extra visuals/fixing current rendering issues.

All Resources are currently in the game as of v238.0

All Dinosaurs are current as of v237.0 and new dinos will be added as they are available. (Rhino's are already in)

Beaches are pretty bare, I plan to add some scarce rocks/trees/bushes and whatnot although it is a nice change from the dense jungles.

Obelisks are just for landmarks.

Still need to add Supply Drops.

I'll eventually fix the rendering issues with the large feature rocks, that is the last thing on my list of concerns since it can be temporarily fixed by setting your View Distance to Epic.

What's the Difference between WickWillow & WickWillow Island?

I've learned a lot from creating WickWillow Island, however there were so many small issues that I wanted to fix but didn't know how so I started fresh and I think things are working out much better this time around. :)

WickWillow is massive compared to WickWillow Island and the Day/Night Cycle + Weather work.

WickWillow is more of what I envisioned when creating WickWillow Island I just had less of an understanding of UE4.

Huge shout out to Brick Whut for his amazing tutorials which helped guide me through the creation of both maps. <3

Love this map. Nice to be freed of Leeds. A raft is a vital tool on this.

Last update was last Dec or Jan. I'd say map is not a priority for developer. Too bad, it's a nice map.
