The basic concept of Layers explained
Layers is a puzzle platformer that has a unique twist. A level is made of up the 3 different layers, Green, Red and Yellow. Objects in the game interact with the layer you are playing on as well as the layer that matches its outline colour. Use this interaction to solve the puzzles and get all the characters to the exit gate.

  • Fully functioning level editor
  • Planned Steam Workshop support to share and play countless levels
  • Carefully planned puzzles
  • Unique gameplay and concept

Interesting concept for a puzzle game! I especially appreciate how your screenshots have text in them explaining the gameplay.

We are running the Game Development World Championship and would like to see you participate. It's good for your visibility and won't cost you a penny.

You can check it out at .

Good luck with the development!

The new video still didn't explain it very well. One of the main problems is it's extremely difficult to see the colors at all in the trailers. Is that some problem with the recording software or is it that subtle in the game? Either way I can't vote yes for this as it stands.

The Layers mechanic you present seem highly inconsistent (you change your position in the level when you switch layers?!) and/or difficult to execute puzzle solutions to (how do you know where to push the green block, if not for the arrow?). Methinks you had better go back to the drawing board, redesign the mechanic so that it's easier to understand and utilize, and redesign the puzzles around it.

Check out the new announcement and video and hopefully I've managed to explain it.

I really can't tell what the main mechanic is about here. Show us this mechanic in action!

Neither the video nor the description is enough information to suggest that this is anything more than generic. Show more about the layers. I don't get it.
