Larger Lockers Mod

In 1 collection by cartman-2000
Workshop mods for Cartman-2000's Unturned servers
21 items
This was orgigonally based off of More Locker Sizes mod, by Dr Richtofen, And has been tweaked some more for PVE servers.

You will have to use an extended backpack mod to be able to craft the 2-3 largest lockers(To hold enough sheet metal to be able to craft the item.). The locker hp's may still be a bit high for PVP server's, it is possible to change the health vaue in the bundle files to something lower.

  • The game has an item count cap at 200 for storage(As the game can only support 256 items max in a storage.). The largest lockers may run out of space in terms of item count before you run out of placeable space, there isn't really anything that can be done on my end to fix that, Nelson would have to change how the storage item index is handled for something higher than that to be supported in the game.
  • There are possible workshop mod conflicts with this mod, you should unsub from your workshop mods when playing on PVP server's if you encounter a conflict, the client will be able load mods on server connect if you don't have mods subbed when you connect.

Suggested backpack mod for this mod(not required for the lower sized recipes.):
Giant Backpack mod

You'd need to decompile the unity3d files in the mod, which isn't an easy thing to do, it was designed, for those unity3d files, to be a one way compile of the models, you'd need the source files to modify them. The locker models that I'm using are stock "compiled" models, but as I have Nelson in my friends list I could request a mod to the model for it. It may be easier to do a color mod to the lockers, going from light to dark for lockers, than to change the size of them.

true, perhaps a second mod with them as different sizes for those that like that level of realism? I'd do it myself but I have no clue about that side of modding in Unturned. I only know how to change the stats of things lol

It would be a bit interesting to see, but in may be annoying for some trying to line up the lockers in a row, especially when trying to stack them.

oh ok, would be awesome if the physical size was different to reflect the inventory size though :)

No, it's just that way in the inventory to make it a little bit easier to see what it is.

Are these lockers physcially different in size as well to reflect the higher inventory space the bigger they get?

Yes thanks

The issue should now be fixed with this weeks update to Unturned.

By looking at the salvage code, in a decompiler, in the game, it would seem that it needs to be equal to the health on the element for it to be salvaged, and not above the max health.

if (barricadeRegion.barricades[(int)index].barricade.health == itemBarricadeAsset.health)
player.inventory.forceAddItem(new Item(barricadeRegion.barricades[(int)index].barricade.id, EItemOrigin.NATURE), true);

You could try to damage them until it shows below 100% health, then repair it back, there isn't really a plugin that I know of yet that can modify the health of elements above that health back down to below it, although it should be possible to make one.

Other than that, I could ask nelson to change it so it will give back the item even if it's over the max item health, He'd need to change the == to >=(greater than or equal.).
