Hey all - still at 70% - Working on new screens to show off
Release date: Q3 2017

After four years, with over one year of full funding, over 20 people having contributed to the project, and a current staff of 6 full time workers, we are finally entering the final few months of development.

In the time since the inception of Batch 17, our vision has been consistent. Bring a new form of multiplayer to the gaming world, and let the community drive the development after release.

Batch 17 has a unique combination of offline and online multiplayer coop and PVP, allowing players to play online real time with or against one another, as well as invade enemy worlds even when that person is offline.

Using a wide combination of skills, balanced for Solo, Coop, and PVP, you can build up a defence against foreign invaders, booby trap player bases when they're offline, and farm Epic Mobs for skill points and special drops.

Enjoy region-wide real time events, free for all encounters, and instant notifications for every online player. Experiment with combinations of skills to take down epic mobs and protect your investments.

Batch 17's AI uses a teleport/encounter mechanic to automatically scale encounters to the number of players and the skills of those players. This provides unique encounters that will never play the same way twice, and a rapid, energetic fight style that will keep you on your toes.

Take a look before at our teaser trailer and check out the screenshots. If you are interested in a new way to play multiplayer games in a community led game world, give us a follow, or follow us on twitter!

Hey all of those of you who are interested in following the games progress. We do have a twitter page which we're soon going to start updating regularly.

After the greenlight campaign was successful, we decided to grow the team to NINE people doing art, audio, and modeling. We're completely redoing the graphics to make sure when this releases, its the best possible version it can be!

Head to twitter to get the most up to date content on the game!

Is there somewhere I can go to see updates of the games progress?

Thanks @BaffledMedia, and I might have sent more than one because my browser froze and I clicked the button multiple times. Thanks for the update :D

ShawgyDog - I've got your contact email through the sign up for the Mod testing :D Right now all of the new artists are busy reworking everything so the campaign will likely be a ways out from testing, but the mod toolkit will almost certainly be released for some public consumption ahead of that.

I will make sure to hit you up as soon as the internal testers for the mod toolkit give me feedback :)

@BaffledMedia Is there a public or private beta testing? If so how much do I pay to join? *wink*

Just an update for everyone - I've hired several awesome folks to help punch up the graphics and redesign many elements of the game based on everyone's feedback here.

We are still planning to release later this year, and to @Shawgydog - Yes - I have actually tested this game out on my nvidia shield and have even played multiplayer in it :)

As for how fast that comes out after the steam release, I will just have to see :)

Wait did he say you could play this on a NVIDIA Shield tablet? I'm sold. Everything I read in the description is something I have probably wanted to find in a game for I don't know how long.:steamhappy:
