Suit Upgrading

Have too many old Spider Suits laying around ? Annoyed that you can't find any Elerium Cores to build the next tier ? Well now you can turn the old junk into new fancy stuff!

Allows upgrading of Spider Suits to Wraith Suits and Exo Suits to WAR Suits, saving you on Elerium Cores and putting the outdated gear to some use.

It unlocks once you have researched Powered Armor and have built at least one of either, it should be retroactive with existing games that allready have the requirements fulfilled

Not compatible with Grimy's Loot mod, whilest it lets you upgrade the suits, all mods are lost.

**IF IT DOES NOT SHOW* The options are hidden unless you have one exo/spider suit unequipped and in the inventory. **/IF IT DOES NOT SHOW**

Costs can be adjusted in the .Ini file (\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\268500\624793674\Config\XComSuitUpgrading.ini) in the Mod folder and only custom classes are used, so should be compatible with all other Mods.

An isolated part of my other mod : Elerium Grounds, http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=624294299

This is for anyone who ONLY wants suit upgrading, do not install this as well as Elerium Grounds.

It uses its own classes, so should have no compatability issues.

Now also available on the NexusMods!

Compatible with LW2 and WOTC

With this mod installed experimental ammunition disappears after it is crafted and the "assign new project" button from the proving ground doesn't work any more.
You look very wow tonight. Jun 30 @ 10:51am
This mod does not appear to work with mods that allow you to add mods to armor unfortunately, deleting them upon upgrading the suit. Idk if you'd be able to fix this, but it makes this mod pretty much incompatible with other moddable gear mods. Hope you can fix it!

I'm surprised Firaxis didn't fix this in WotC, but as long as the mod still works, that's good.

@Lord Bubba:
Hrm, I guess that would make sense if armour suits were individually upgraded between tiers. But with a single spend for the upgrade it doesn't really; or you can head canon it that that's what's going on?

Excellant mod. Too bad you can't do the same thing with Predator armor to Warden armor (hint, hint).

Sadly there is not, either it shows a warning for WOTC or it is not useable in Vanilla as all, so i have opted for the warning in WOTC.

is there anyway to show that it is compatible with wotc?

Good to read it works... maybe change the name to reflect it? Thank you for your excellent work

An essential mod for me as well. I will have to try it one mod at a time.
