Get the old graphics back on big picture!
By DiseGames
I know this guide already exists (and created by someone else), but the creator didnt explain how you do it on big picture mode or on steam machines (they run SteamOS). So I thought I clould create another guide!

How do I turn on big picture?
If you are on WIndows/Mac, you problaby don't know how to turn it on. Put your cursor on the top right corner (not the close button), and click the controller. Then it should open!
What controller?
Big picture is reccomended to use it with a controller. If you are using a PC gamepad (e.g. Logitech and Saitek controllers) steam might not regocnize it, so you have to set up the controls. The controllers I reccomend using are: Xbox 360 controller, Xbox ONE controller, & Steam Controller.
And finally, the game's graphics!
If you bought Portal before you bought Half-Life 2, graphics won't look the same. So, when you have installed Portal, go to Portal on Big Picture and go to "Manage Game". Then go on "Set Launch Options", and then type "-dxlevel90" without quotes etc. Then, open Portal and your video options should reset. Then, quit the game, remove the commands from "Set Launch Options", and start the game again, and you should have the old graphics back!
I want the other graphics back!
Well, go to Launch options, then type -dxlevel 81 .
