4. Updates

From the creators of the Heroes of Might & Magic franchise comes a fun Digital Trade Card Game.
The original game is available for free on Steam and it is recommended to run through its tutorial to grasp the basics. Everyone else can read a short version of the rules and all the basic terminology in the Notebook.

1. Contents:
A beginner friendly board with 2 custom decks:
- Craghack rush
- Garant rush
Base cards
Void Rift expansion
Herald of the Void expansion
Forgotten Wars expansion
The Five Towers expansion
Heart of Nightmare expansion
Griffin Bane expansion
Sins of Betrayal expansion
All the achievement- and alternate art cards!
"Unlimited" bags with:
* Red, blue and green blocks for each hero attribute
* 20-Dices for Counters and creatures health
* Resources as checkers chips

2. Missing:
Time of Renewal expansion

3. Hearthstone comparison/Rules
"This is like Hearthstone right?"
Almost. Here are some comparisons:
- You deploy creatures on rows and columns:
* Shooters in the "back".
* Melee in the "front". Defends shooters from enemy melee.
* Flyers and meele-shooters may deploy anywhere.
- During mulligan, instead of 3 or 4 cards: 7 cards. You may only keep/discard entire hand.
- Instead of Coin: "Dragon crystal" (with some added functions).
- Instead of 30 card deck: Deck contains a minimum of 59 cards: 1 Hero. 8 "Event" cards. 50 creature/spell/fortune/building-cards. May contain up to 209 cards.
- Instead of 2 copies of any cards: 4 copies of any card.
- Instead of Legendaries: Unique epics (with 1 unique Rare)
- There's a graveyard with funky mechanics. Anything else is "destroyed" or "banished".
- Instead of 9 classes: 6 Factions. Each faction contains 10 unique heroes = 60 heroes.
- Instead of hero ability: hero ability...and you may spend resources on drawing one additional card each turn.
- Different hero mechanic: May choose to level up an attribute which is required to use certain cards along with resource requirement.
- Instead of 30 hitpoints: 18 or 20 hitpoints depending on which hero.
- Instead of 1-10 mana: Called "resources". Similar but unlimited acquisition.

4. Updates:
2016-02-13
*Added 10 resource markers to each player at start for easy flipping.

*Completed "Terminology" in the Notebook and sorted them alphabetically.
*Added stack tokens. 10 copies each.
*Enlarged hero health counter.

2016-02-11
*Re-made the board with markings for new players and a prettier background.
*Added hidden zones for deckcrafting.
*Added turns.
*Added 2 custom decks for a quick start: "Crag hack rush deck" and "Garant rush deck".
*Added "Terminology" to the notebook and rules.

@jerad21006 all it takes is the artworks for each card and it can be done.

You cant revive a game without the publisher's consent and ubisoft will quickly slap on your hands if you try. Blizzard did not own DOTA the modders did who created it and the guy who owned the name worked on DOTA2.

There is a "reboot" already in the works for this game with the same mechanics but different art and lore, it's called Duels of Xen'Arun. The development started around the time when it was announced that the game wont be supported anymore, but development takes time. There are constant updates and polls on their facebook page if you are intrested.

@Meth Not Even Once!
I'm no programmer but If you need any card templates and arts I got you covered.
It's possible that when you subscribe to this TableTopSimulator Mod you get all of it though,

Reboot MMDOC!

Since its shutdown I've been trying loads of similar games but nothing can even come close to this gemstone. The game mechanics, the firsthand combat, the board and lanes, spell schools and different factions, omg I really miss this game and fuck ubisoft for ruining. I've spent a lots of money to get those epic rare cards on packs.

Anyway, anyone out there good in programming and some sort of shit skills who can reboot this game? I ain't good at any shit, but I'd like to contribute and donate some money I could afford to see this game come back alive. Once Blizzard have this game mod call DOTA. But instead Valve has taken over and adopted it. Now this DOTA2 is the best and highest earning MOBA game out there.

Any replies, comments and suggestions are welcome.

With Love from Anastasya (Fortune heavey deck with Final blow from Tower of Oblivion Deck) :)

@Clarios
I haven't played Tabletop in a long time but you can google or look for guides in the steamforums for the Tabletop community on how to load workshop creations.

Indeed. And please let me know if there's anything you'd wish be added/changed and I'll see what I can do since I'm the only one managing this at the moment.
