Description
This is the official ALiVEmod team release of ALiVE on Steam

ALiVE is the next generation dynamic persistent battlefield for ArmA3. Developed by the Multi Session Operations team, the easy to use modular mission framework provides everything that players and mission makers need to set up and run realistic military operations in almost any scenario up to Company level, including command, combat support, service support and logistics.

AI Commanders automatically plan and direct missions for all AI forces across the Area of Operations, identifying strategic objectives and reacting to changes in the tactical situation. The revolutionary Virtual Profile System can support thousands of units operating simultaneously across the map with minimal impact on performance. The result is a realistic and constantly changing battlefield which truly brings ArmA3 ALiVE.

If you intend to run a dedicated persistent ALiVE server via our War Room service, you will need to run @aliveServer on your Server as well as @ALiVE. ALiVEServer is not needed by clients. There are also some optional pbo files to auto enable War Room data. Full details can be found in the server setup pages at http://alivemod.com/war-room

i think chernarus needs to be reindexed. when i use the civilian placement module barely any civilians spawn even when its set to extreme and no filter. in some towns none spawn at all.

Easiest way is to log into the War Room and follow the instructions on there.

@Blitzkrieg762 If you can identify which part counts as the "artillery" then you should in theory be able to put that into the Combat Support module.

Any chance anyone would have a fix or solution to get the USS Iowa to work with the combat support module for artillery?

I have a question i have used alive in the past and for some reason it doesent spawn the amount i want ive changed the active limiter ive changed about everything i can think of but when i look at the debug it doesent show more than 40 units at most

just to clarify i use two ai comanders and tell them to invade each other but the untis i set them to dont spawn ive even set them to 800 each and only like 40 spawn is there any fix

@Kelset same here. The exact error I got was "Script PATHTO_SUB(cbauiflexiMenufnc_list) not found" . It occurs when I try to click on any ALiVE menu option such as "Commander options" and the like.

CBA latest update broke Alive functionalities like alive menu in game. waiting for updates.

has the strategic task system been fixed yet?
for me they never generate when turned on.

but constant tasks work just fine.

id like strategic as im guessing they are the tasks the ai commander assigns you based on what is currently going on in the mission
