Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When will the game be released?
A: When it’s done and feels good, and we’re aiming for that to be by the first half of 2016.

Q: What’s an “Arcade Platformer” anyway?
A: We don’t really know, but it sounds good, doesn’t it. Seriously though, rather than linear levels you complete in order, Damsel takes place in a range of environments (arenas) that are filled with different objectives. You’ll come back to an environment multiple times and see things in a different way. Missions may only last a few minutes, but there’s lots of them, and you’ll want/have to replay many to unlock all of the challenges and bonuses that go with them.

Q: Why is it called Damsel? I just want to play a game, I’m not interested in politics.
A: Calm down, we’re not here to be preachy. We think it’s a cool, memorable, name and we think we’ve created a cool, memorable character. If people can relate to her and her story, that’s awesome! If not, that’s fine too. We just want people to know that not all damsels have to be in distress. Some damsels can cause it.

No thanks, you use the same sprites over and over. Which mean you bought your assets I'm guessing, which make this a unfinished game, because your limited to what you have.
