Strip Primary Weapons

The mod isn't needed for WotC DLC as it already has the same functionality.

Re-introduces "Make weapons available button", introduced in 05/12/2016 patch and removed later in 11/08/2016 patch, and makes it to strip upgraded and limited weapons only. Works with both primary and secondary weapons. Unlike vanilla, does not remove custom weapons with no upgrades and infinite amount.

Known issues: there is a small delay for modded button to kick in so watch out for [MOD] indicator in pop-up dialog title.

NOTE: mods do not disable achievements in XCOM2.

DISCLAIMER: I can't guarantee any of my mods are 100% bugs free, so use them at your own risk. I do play with all of them and I will release fixes or at least workarounds if bugs/problems are discovered.

Yeah, I've heard that not all of the mod features are available in vanilla, but I still don't own WotC myself, so I can't update it, sorry.

That's not what this mod does though. Have a look for "Remove Equipment Mods", apparently works with WoTC.

I can't find this functionality in WotC. I know you can swap mods in and out with the breakthrough that allows it, but there doesn't seem to be a button to strip all weapon mods

Well, the mod was never about removing anything from a weapon, but about removing a weapon from a soldier. So making another mod would be more logical. But I myself don't play XCOM2 anymore and don't make any mods for it.

Is it possible you could make a version of this mod that just strips weapon mods from every weapon available? With LW2 now being a thing, and weapon mods there being freely changable, a possibility to remove every mod from every weapon would help greatly.

I'm not playing XCOM2 anymore and I don't have time right now to look into what Firaxis did, sorry. Hope they'll release some sort of quick fix soon as this patch is a complete disaster. When they do, feel free to post a comment here and I will update the mod if it breaks again.

For me at least what the Button actually says can be different to what it does. I've found the button tooltip to accurately reflect what happens when I click it. There appears to be no consistency in what button performs what action. I do use other mods affecting the load out screen so (as it's workable for me) I haven't investigated further, keeps me on my toes though...
