Listening to the Companion Cube

Did you know that your favourite metal box makes noises? In this guide I will tell you almost all about it.
In the Companion Cube chamber (Test Chamber 17), pick it up and bring it to this place:
Put it down and be quiet. You may notice that it occasionally makes sounds. Before you comment anything like "Gaym theoreh said thes alredy nub" , let me say this: The sounds it makes are not said by some human, but rather a machine. More proof: This info can be found in the script folder: these are some of the sounds of a Headcrab canister/rocket. So yeah, I guess Valve added that so the cube would give you the sp00ks. If you're in a quiet chamber and hear all that, it would be creepy.
A Headcrab canister. They're fired like rockets, so I really don't know are they canisters or not.
What does all that technical stuff mean?
By all that they mean that the cube makes selected noises on every 4 seconds. It also changes pitch randomly between 70 and 90, where 100 is the default pitch. More specifically, it has a background sound looping everywhere, ambient/atmosphere/corridor2.wav , and a set of sounds:
