Description
Zombies & Demons(Ryan Zombies) has done some great work and I applaude them for their Continued Progress!
They gave us a wonderful new feature last update called infection.
However Exile cannot utilize this feature without throwing errors.
This has been made bug free for the eXpoch A4E mod
This addon will complete the first part of their new feature.
Chance of infection while fighting zombies :)
This also allows us to use the Pills(Temp Fix) and Injector(CURE) as an Exile Consumable.

I have to thank Patrix for his ExileZ spawning system, most owners i know are running ExileZ and Patrix has now included all the startup goodies for us to get INFECTED!

Installation instruction are in the ReadME.txt file :)

v0.1 - provide base items to temporarily stop infection(Pills) and to cure infection(Injector)
These are now recognized as Consumables by Exile and function with Exile as intended for Ryan Zombies Infection!

**RZ Infection persistence and compatibility with EPOCH**
Ported persistence out of eXpoch for RZInfection release.
Adds mysql database table
Adds 4 more overrides (64bit versions available)
Adds exile.ini custom entries (64bit versions available)
Adds EPOCH Compatibility

It does not show Infection on by default in Kuplion's rewrite either

So would you happen to know if the ExileZ edition that you and someone speak of having your mod work with, do you know if infection is included in ExileZ by default cause i added it to my Exile server for zombies and now my players seem to start coughing, get blurry vision and then heartbeat and die

Hi @captainshane,

Sorry for delay in reply.
Only use the -mod command line, for example:
"-mod=@exile;@RZInfection;"

This will load the mod as needed and will be on the list of mods required for clients connecting

Hello guys!

I'm in the process of getting this mod up and running server-side (love the concept!) - but have a very basic question I feel foolish even asking:

Do I also have to include the @RZ Infection direct to the (player) mod section of the command line? I assume I certainly have to do this for the server mod part of the command line anyway, to point at the RHInfection folder on the server.

In a nutshell - am I adding @RH Infection to both the mod line, and server mod line, of the command line? Requiring players to also subscribe to this mod to join the server (ie: not server side only?).

Apologies, the readme only mentions the 'mod line' which is confusing me.

Hi @z4khy,

Have you tried to activate the infection module from within Zombies and Demons yet?
Try that out first by following the Zombies and Demons install instructions.

Modules are installed and configured within 3DEN. Not sure if there is ample information but those links above might help.

Hello,
I use the zombie and demon mod on my life post apo server, however I would like to use your mod, is it functional on a life server? if so how to make it work? thank you very much

So its not the DB that the issue, I have tried 3 different setups.. When i use my dev box with .v93 of infistar on the same mysql server as the live. it work, where the live doesn't.. when i get a chance I'll downgrade my infistar and see if it works, if it does have to find out whats causing it.

Plot thickens... I have a local dev box that has an exact copy of everything from my live server.. only 2 differences. MySQL on the dev box is "portable" and infistar is an older version like .92 .93.. My dev box doesn't have the DB issue i posted, it works as expected? Any suggestions? And.. When cured systems don't seem to ever fully clear up (blurred vision around edges)
