We're Greenlit!
Tightening Up Gameplay + Animation
Release date: January 2017
Leonard Saves the City is an adventure game staring a parkouring (bark-ouring?) weiner dog who must battle paper bag monsters, invading robots, and the housing crisis to save his city.

Classic 2D Gameplay + Modern Graphics
  • The game has a stylized bright look inspired by the beautiful low poly art scene.
  • San Francisco's different neighborhoods, from the lush plant-life in Golden Gate Park to the towering buildings under construction
  • downtown, offer a crazy variety of levels to explore.
  • You'll encounter scary paper bag demons, misplaced furniture monsters, and other mysterious characters.

Introducing Dog Detective (smell) Mode
Use your nose to uncover hidden secrets and emotions in the environment and creatures around you.
Visualized in a sleek clean minimalist web/app GUI. Part parody of the SF tech scene, partly cause this developer is a UI artist too.

Explore a Vibrant City full of Secrets and Treats!

  • Explore iconic San Francisco landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and ridiculous hills!
  • See the different neighborhoods like North Beach, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park, and more.
  • Run into artists, hippies, tech executives, celebrity chefs!
  • Breathtaking battles on top of landmarks and skyscrapers.
  • Warehouse battles because games need warehouse battles.
  • Witness the ever evolving city and the effects of the housing crisis from the eyes of a puppy!

It's gonna need a lot of work but I'm a sucker for games that let you play as dogs, so I'm voting for this.

Looks pretty, but the mechanics seem way too floaty.

Teacher backed it on kickstarter 4 days ago for media studies by $20. So yeah I'll buy it if it's on steam.
(If wondering it's becuase in media he was going through different models for mainjg video games and each year he funds something on kickstarter. :steamhappy: )
