Punch Club has lots of references and Easter Eggs to 80's and 90's. I tried to mention these references and easter eggs. Contains Punch Club, Rocky, Star Wars Spoilers

Notice!: This Article Contains Spoiler About Punch Club, Rocky Movies and Star Wars. I took screenshots from the video i prepared which is Turkish.

Punch Club Contains to many references and easter egss. These are:

ROCKY REFERENCES AND EASTER EGGS (CONTAİNS SPOİLER)
1) Rocky Poster:



As you can see the Stoney Poster which we see in different places is very familiar to Rocky Poster.

2) Mick - Mickey Goldmill



Mick who is an old friend of our father is an obvious reference to Mickey Goldmill from Rocky series who is the trainer of Rocky. Their apperiences are very familiar.

3) Roy - Apollo Creed

After we broke our leg, Roy replace and fights for us against Russian Zangief. But Zangief kills him. This is very familiar with, Apollo Creed friend of Rocky fights with a Russian Fighter İvan Drago and been killed during the fight



4) Rocky in Russia:

After Roy's death we go to Russia in order to take Revenge and also find about the Story about the Medellion. Before fighting Zangief we train in Russia, as Rocky did in the movies. Also we fight with Zangief who killed Roy in Russia, Rocky fights with Ivan Drago who killed Apollo Creed in Russia.



5) Adrian - Adrian Peninno:

Our girlfriend Adrian has same name with Rocky's wife Adrian Peninno



TERMİNATOR REFERENCES:

1) Terminator Poster:

The Poster in our house is very similiar to Terminator Poster



2) Terminator Quatation:

In the begining of the game the robber says to us: "I Need your clothes, booths and motorcyle". This phrase is used by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the beginning of Terminator 2



CHARACTER REFERENCES:

- Apu is reference to the Character Apu from the Simpsons. Both work on market. Also similiar appereance



- Tyler is reference to Tyler Durden from Fight Club. Both organizating fights outside a bar also similiar appereance and same clothes.



- Mickey is Mickey O'neill From Snatch, Mickey lives in Caravan Camp, Mickey O'neill is interested in Caravans, Mickey is twin of Tyler, Mickey O'neill and Tyler Durden was both potrayed by Brad Pitt



- The people in Casey's cafe is Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield.



- Don is obvious reference to Don Corleone from The Godfather



- Our Manager Ding Kong is reference to Boxing Manager Don King. Their appereance looks very similiar.



- Fighter Rey Maskerio is Rey Mysterio



- Also our brothers appereance is reference to Rey Mysterio



- Kulk Kogan is Hulk Hogan



- Mighty Bruce is Bruce Lee



- Also Picture of Brucee Lee on the Arcade Machine



STAR WARS REFERENCE: (Contains Spoiler):

At the end of the game the man with red eye says "I'm Your Father" to us, which is a clear reference to Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back where Darth Vader says "I'm your father" to Luke.



TEENAGE MUTANT NİNJA TURTLES REFERENCES:

- Obviously the 4 Ninja Crocidiles are references to TMNT but their names are more interesting. Their Names Are Steve, Bill, Mark and Gabe. So:

Stebe Jobs
Bill Gates
Mark Zuckerberg
and Gabe Newell


- Sensei of the Crocidiles is Master Splinter



- Also Some TMNT objects in Mick's Office:

i) Second Dummy Has Schredder's Costume
ii) Fourth Dummy has Donatello's Costume
iii) There's a Turtle Shell on the wall
iv) Casey Jones's Hockey Bat and Mask on the Wall
v) Rapheal's Weapon "Sai" On The Wall



MORTAL KOMBAT REFERENCES:

- Sub Zero and Raiden Costumes on Dummy's at Mick's Office



- Sub Zero at "Ninja Slayer" Achievment



- Sub Zero at The İsland



STREET FİGHTER REFERENCES:

Rio is Ryu
Kyu is Ken
İvangef is Zangief



BATMAN REFERENCE:

- Theres a picture like Batman on the Crime Fighter Achievment



DOCTOR WHO REFERENCE

- One skill is named "Long Timer" and has a picture looks like Tardis



There are probably more references or easter eggs but these were the ones i could detect. Also sorry for bad spelling and grammer. Enjoy the game[/u]

Roy's house is number 42, which could be a reference to A Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy.

I was all giddy with all the refrences. Even Dark Wing Duck shows up in the title screen if you wait for a bit. It's awesome.:steamhappy:

Outside the grocery store you can see Jay and Silent bob jamming out, just like at the convenience store

I think the arcade machine is in reference to the arcade game "Karate Champ." JCVD and Jackson play it in Bloodsport, which is also a poster in your garage and the gym.
