Eunomia: The Last City is an early 90's Sierra-Style point and click adventure game currently under development. It will take you back to the golden age of narrative driven exploration and puzzle games that spanned vast, varied and interesting environments.

Features, current and planned

  • 30,000 words of voice acted narration and dialogue (~5 hrs.)
  • 150+ interactive areas to discover and explore.
  • Over 50 fully realized NPC's to meet and confront.
  • Hundreds of items and objects to find, use and interact with.
  • Up to 20 minutes of hand painted and animated cut-scenes

A free playable demo is planned for this year (2017). Your ongoing interest and observations will be greatly appreciated and a huge inspiration to us.

@be142 The wordy narration (tied to interactions with environments and objects) alongside cut-scenes will allow for a large amount of story exposition and narrative direction. Puzzles will also aim to vex players and keep them coming back to keep things moving forward-without being obscure/frustrating. We want to keep the bulk of the story hush-hush because that's something to uncover and enjoy while playing.

It looks like quite a cute game. The narration and graphics really look like the 90's adventure game style you're trying to emulate. Would be good to see more of your story and writing style, as this will probably be the biggest thing to affect quality/interest.

@daniel.mantione A Linux port would be possible with some work.

Is there a possibility of a Linux port, or are you coding into a direction that it will be Windows only forever?

This looks good. I'm not usually one to play point & click adventures, but this looks like there was quite an effort put into this, you've got my thumbs up! :ss13ok:
