Almost there: the last push!

What a crazy ride!

Memoir En Code is now 80% on its way to the top 100, which is absolutely incredible! I want to thank all of you for supporting this deeply personal project, let's hope we can finally see it on Steam!

The game is not green-lit, though, so we need an extra final push!

There are few ways in which you can help:

Convince even just one (1) friend to upvote it! On Greenlight every single vote is uber-important, so even just one private message to a friend of yours could be a very good way of helping out
Share the Greenlight campaign on Twitter / Facebook. If you find the game interesting or if you already bought it and liked it, share the Greenlight campaign, send a Tweet or retweet this one (or do all of these things, why not?)

Extra info about the Steam release

As already mention, the Steam release will include few extra things that hopefully the community will appreciate:

Developer Commentary: sound commentary to complement the game experience
Achievements: all the ones available in the game will be mirrored with full Steam achievements
Trading Cards: many of you asked me about them. If I'll be able to, I will also include trading cards!

The situation so far

Hello everyone,

thank you so much for the support you showed during these first few days of Memoir En Code on Greenlight!

When I first decided to submit the game I imagined a lot of people would complain that the game was too experimental or not game-y enough. Well, while at this stage the NOs took over the YES (which I was honestly expecting given the nature and look of the game), Memoir En Code is 40% on its way to the top 100, which is great!

There is a 60% left though, and it's difficult to get there considering that the initial Greenlight momentum is gone.

How can you help?

We need a lot more YES votes, and the best way to achieve this is to spread the word about the game. Message friends that might find Memoir En Code interesting, share the Greenlight page on social media, go on the streets screaming about the game, you know the drill! Every single vote is extremely important, so at least tell your mom to vote YES!

What can I do?

If you have specifdic feedback or general ideas that you'd like to share, feel free to do it in the comment section below!

What now?

At this stage I "just" need to collect a lot more YES votes and keep spreading the word about the campaign. With your help - perhaps - I can make it to the top 100 :)

What is Memoir En Code?

Memoir En Code is an autobiographical game album. It is a game designed to be experienced like a music album in which each track is interactive and has a different style and gameplay.

The different tracks of Memoir En Code are about life events that influenced and shaped me; from being in a long distance relationship, to living in a foreign country.

Can you tell me more about Memoir En Code?

Memoir En Code was developed in the attempt to explore autobiography in games. Since the game was designed as if it was a music album, playing through the experience once will take approximately 30 minutes. The game is meant to be played several times, though, which will allow you to understand more about the different events and the small details that define it.

Memoir En Code contains several secrets and meta elements that extend the duration to few hours. Together with the game, you will also receive Memoir De Code (a decryption tool you will need to complete the game), and a Digital Booklet with extra information autobiographical info about the games.

Release info

The game is already available (Win/Mac/Linux) from the official website[www.memoirencode.com] but for the Steam release (Early 2016) I am planning of implement achievements and tweak some parts of the game. I need your precious support to go emerge from Greenlight and end up in your Steam library now :)
