Ready for Moor?
Description
Moor, A 3D pixel-styled rogue-like dungeon crawler game.

A rogue-like dungeon crawler set in a 3D pixel styled world.
The gameplay got a combination of navigating throught randomly generated maze-like dungeon floors togheter with puzzle elements to solve and boss battles with rewarding loot.

So far the structure of each level will be a large generated dungeon floor filled with various enemies and loot were you have'll have to find your way to the floor's "end" were you'll most likely end up with having to solve some sort of puzzle to continue into a boss room. as you progress further and further down there will be more and more floors with just a entry to the next floor instead of a boss fight, so there will be more floors between each boss battle as you get further down. The The style of the floors will also change alot, but the style you se on the images and in the video will be the first one, probably throughout 3-6 floors ( with probably 2 bosses).
As how it's planned it's only supposed to be one puzzle room as can be seen in the video before a boss battle, but if people want puzzle rooms more often than that feel free to suggest that. The puzzle in the video is also what I put into the category "easy" and they will likely be much harder and much longer, and might even contain enemies further in.

-Bosses-
The "Queen Spider" as seen in the new video will be one of the first bosses, she wont have 1000 hp as seen in the video tho.. but you wont always meet the Qeen Spider as the first boss, I'm planning to have around 3-5 bosses as the "easy bosses" and at each level where there will be a boss fight it will randomly pick a boss room and one of thise 3-5 bosses to fight, so you will never crawl the same floor, never solve the same puzzle and never fight the same boss! But as you progress, floors, enemie, puzzles and bosses will get harder and harder, and if you die, well.. then you gotta start over :]

The goal of the game is to create a rather hardcore dungeon crawler game were the goal is "How far can I get down in the dungeon". By hardcore I don't mean a hard ♥♥♥ game where it's impossible to survive, but a game where you have to combine attacking tactics, using your shields, potions and so on to get as far down into the dungeon as possible.

-Items and enemies-
I've made the game so adding new enemies and adding new items is fairly easy and can be done within a minute :D
So what's probably gonna take some time on the side is actually drawing the items and the enemie animations and so on. It's the same way with the parts the dungeon generate from. So what's gonna take most time is creating the various creative puzzles and in-depth boss battles.

If there's anything you've always wished for in a game like this, either it's a type if item, puzzle, enemie or boss, just feel free to comment below or send me a message / add me :]

Hoping for more honest feedback and I really hope this is a game someone would like to play! I'm having much fun creating it atleast ^^

I guess it's possible, but then I'd have to make a level editor of some sort.

I'm not sure if Ill update the info there on greenlight as it seems uninteresting once it says it's been greenlit. But I do have website for it www.playmoor.webs, which I'll update quite alot very soon, as far as the upcoming demo is ready. I got a demo up pretty soon, which I'm planning to post on my website and on forum.yoyogames.com, and use the feedback I get from there to improve a later demo for Steam, but I'll post it here as well :D

So hoping for more feedback after that, and tell me what you think then :)

sorry for the long post.

...The skeletons actually do, the different skeletons and some other enemies have a "spawn" instance, and the skeleton is actually just as you said, you'll se a skeleton rise from a pile of bones as you get close to it. Enemies as (at this point) changed so the walk around and not just stand there until they spot you, and the goblins who are supposed to live down there might be spawning around fireplaces, just a tought atleast. Yeah, the enemies are kinda dull, they'll run after you and hit you when'ever they can, but they'll run away from you once their health is low. Good idea, the enviroment might seem dark and low-saturated but the dungeon as it stands now is filled with various props...

Thanks for the feedback.
Yeah you're completly right, the celling is kinda high, and you're pretty much never going to touch the celling either, so it's kinda pointless. My intentions was to make the rooms feel bigger, but perhaps it makes the player look small instead (?)
You could say everyone have magic, everyone can use magic atleast, and you'll find enemies casting magic at you as well. There is actually a story in the game, and a backstory for the mountain, dungoen, and the world around it. You'll get to know why you have to enter this dungeon and some of the stuff you can expect down there. The torches aren't really necessary as the game is very bright by default, but you do have a brightness option of course. The torches are more for the ambience I'd say, and they are lit, well.. becuase of magic :P I could make so you could go up to each individual torch and light it up for yourself...
sorry for the long post.

I dont think the ceilings have to be that tall as you arent even close to that tall in game. Why do you have magic does everyone have magic? Did someone teach you magic, add some backstory whats your purpose? The main characters purpose should compel the player too play the game they feel good almost obligated too finish the characters quest. Could add darkness too the dungeon why are the torches lit who lit them? Maybe the skeletons can emerge from the ground rattling into a human shape each bone coming together. I suppose what i am saying is it seems the enemie's are waiting for you, they shouldent be expecting you. The enemy's seem boring with predictable attack patterns, the enviroment looks uninspired so add some more color some more things to please the eye. ~Also the story seems to be nonexistant.
