Auralux: Constellations is a real-time strategy game that distills the RTS genre to its essential elements. Auralux features a slow, graceful feel and vibrant minimalistic graphics, all pulsing to the rhythm of ambient music. This game is designed to provide a relaxing, cerebral experience. Every choice matters, and the only path to victory is through clever strategy. Auralux: Constellations is the sequel to the popular sleeper hit, Auralux.

  • MULTIPLAYER! Face off against your friends (or enemies) online
  • Updated graphics, bringing Auralux into 3D for the first time
  • Brand new music that procedurally adapts to the gameplay
  • Gameplay improvements, including on-the-fly speed adjustments
  • Tons of new maps

But of all the new features, the most exciting are the “constellations”. Each constellation is a group of new levels that feature a twist to the classic Auralux gameplay formula. These include wormholes that teleport units across the map, nebulae that change the speed of anything passing through them, classic RTS fog-of-war effects, supernovae, white holes, and more. These constellations expand the gameplay light-years beyond the original Auralux without compromising its essential simplicity and focus.

Auralux: Constellations is expected to launch in early to mid 2016. You can follow development at

A free demo will be made available before the end of January.

@Auralux_Team So Auralux: Constellations crashed on me and I'm supposed to send the log to you. How do I do that? Should I send it via email?

@Auralux_Team Absolutely! You have even given me a key already. So far the only negative I've experienced with the game is there is some minor lagg at the start screen/main menu. Other than that it's very good. I haven't tried all things just yet but I love the level designs and how you need to be creative sometimes. 9.5/10

Also extra thanks for giving me a steam key, much appreciated. :steamhappy:

Oh man, you've added some very interesting things since last I've checked in. Right now I'd say the game is good but if you keep this up it will be awesome. :)

War drum studios, let me just say I have been obsessed with Auralux for a long time now. I go back and play it on a weekly basis, and have done so for more time than I can remember. I have bought every pack in the game, and speed mode. Looking at gameplay for the new Auralux Constellations, I am excited and disappointed.
You have commented that you will be able to alter gameplay speed in multiple ways, which seems a bit strange. My opinion is, that there should simply be speed and nova mode in this version as well.
I am beyond excited for the 3D graphics! I love Auralux because of its sheer simplicity, but enhancing it like this seems like the right choice for PC.
I am excited about all the special features in store, but I am IMPLORING you to keep the same speed system. Classic, Speed and Nova have been magnificent. I think adding zones where speed is altered doesn't sound like too much fun.
Let me tell you now, I will ALWAYS support this game. Hope you guys get greenlit!
