Zoning toolset (toggle + upgrade tool)

Zoning issues after updating to v1.10?
Check if you have network extensions installed, if you do follow the steps here:

Adds multiple buttons to the road build panel that gives you more control with regards to zoning and traffic lights:
  • Zoning upgrade tool: New update tool that makes toggling of already created roads that much easier. Click on road or drag over multiple roads to toggle their zoning instantly.

  • Zoning toggle: Improved version of the old zoning toggle, also sets zoning for highways. (mod can be turned off or on by right-clicking the button, which resets zoning to default).

    Last updates (10/01/2015)
    • Cleanly unload. Tested without any other workshop items (property --noworkshop set) if menu is reachable with this mod activated,
    • Synced the zoning toggle button with the NoPillars mod zoning dropdown (if it is found in the scene).
    • Added settings to hide zoning toggle(if hidden still defaults to vanilla settings) and set default value for zoning toggle(when turned on)
    • Moved button to spot previously blocked by NoPillars
    • Revamped loading for more stable initializing.

    Tested with

    Planned features
    • Shortcut to upgrade zoning tool
    • New cursor to indicate if upgrade tool will add or remove zoning (for now fixed with orange to indicate removal and green to indicate adding of zoning).

When you are upgrading from the toggle zoning mod to this one, please deactivate the old toggle zoning mod

If you have any issues or suggestions or anything else to say, please post a comment.

This mod can be disabled at any time without breaking your save!
This is because this mod merely toggles a switch that is naturally in the game per road tile. It toggles if zoning should be on (for example normally set in normal roads) or off (for example normally set in highways) when the road is being built. So this mod is only an interface that gives you control over that toggle, nothing more. Which means this mod should never break saves in general or when disabled.

Will this mod need an update for v1.12(Campus)?
LordBelakor May 8 @ 4:57am
could this be your mod? in high density commercial zones, it happens that there are holes appearing. When a building is build back due to some issues, the 4x4 zone will have a 2x2 hole in it, very annoying, but I don't want to delete this mod, because its handy, even if I can dezone a street with TM:PE as well. Could this be with the No Pillars mod? Just saw that this mod also has this option (which is unnecessary in my opinion, as its for pillars)

is it possible to make it, so that just one side of the road gets de-zoned? in most cases I just need one side of the road be without zoning, but with the other side loosing the zones, its almost better to keep both sides

@TechiCat As far as I remember from lately, No Pillars doesn't have the quick and easy Zoning Toggle of existing network pieces (roads) without having to upgrade/downgrade/replace.

There's no sense using this mod if you have No Pillars. All this does is toggle the No Pillar's version visible and invisible.

Andddddd now it's working again. What the heck.

@Arch Angel At some point recently in my current game the Zoning Toggle on pre-existing roads/streets will not work anymore. Clicking "Toggle Zoning Update" and left/right clicking on a network piece does nothing. Clicking Road Upgrade tool and then Toggle Zoning Update also does nothing when left/right clicking. Any idea what's up? It worked fine just a week or two ago.
