In this mod you'll play as Parameswara, usurped Shah of Singapura and Sultan of mighty Malacca! For nine years, you ruled in splendour in the Lion City before a treacherous advisor stole it from you with the ships of the hated Majapahit. Forced to flee, you discovered a land over the seas where even the mouse-deers were formidable, and this place you named Malacca. Through your leadership, this new kingdom grew powerful, rivalling stolen Singapura in beauty, helped by your recruitment of the loyal Orang Laut to protect your traders from pirates, and though the Europeans stole your city from your descendants, one day they would take back what was theirs and live free once more!

Leader: Parameswara

Alam Melayu: Naval units stationed on worked Sea Resources or Atolls provide +1 Food. Excess Food in Cities generates additional Culture

Pesilat: Replacing the Landsknecht, the Pesilat is available at Civil Service and does not require the Mercenary Army Social Policy to unlock. Instead of Gold, the Pesilat can be bought by Culture and can be upgraded from Workers when within two tiles of an enemy unit. Can move immediately after purchasing in a City.

Kampung: Unique Improvement available at Optics, the Kampung can be built by embarked Workers on Coastal tiles or next to Atolls. Each Kampung yields +1 Food and adjacent Sea Resources or Atolls increase Naval Unit Production by +5% when worked by a city. Cannot be built adjacent from each other. +1 Culture after Compass is researched.

Direct Installation Instructions:

1. Download 7zip (it's freeware, and takes next to no time to install)
2. Download the Civ5Mod file from here -> Steam Workshop Downloader[].
3. Place the Civ5Mod in MyDocuments> MyGames> Sid Meiers Civilization 5> MODS
4. Right click the Civ5Mod file and select 7zip -> Extract to "[BNW] Colonialist Legacies - (insert civilization here)
5. Start the game up and hit Mods
6. Enable the mod
7. Play the game

The crash issues seem to be related to creating a worker when enemy units are within 2 tiles of the new worker. There is a decisions script which allows the worker to be upgraded to a Pesilat, but this script cannot be delayed by the 1 turn necessary. Instead, the game will crash. Unfortunately there is no way to prevent the AI from creating a worker if there is an enemy or barbarian within 2 tiles of the worker. I do not know how to fix this issue, hopefully JFD can provide some solution.

this mod freezes the leader selection menu in simple setup mode. I like this mod and i would very much appreciate you if you could fix the bugs with it :)

This mod keep crashing dude. what the heck.. I played 4 times using ONLY this mod.. and whenever I reached Industrial era, battling with Ships and such.. the game crashes.

Had a game that kept crashing. Fun one with Malaysia as an AI and I was another of JFD's wonderful creations, Churchill. On Archipelago of course. Throughout the game I experienced hard crashes. I'd back up a few years in Autosave and sometimes would avoid the crash, sometimes would see it again. Crash was always occuring during Malaysia's turn. Frustrated and eager to save a fun game, I opened up IGE and killed Malaysia. No more problems. Hopefully a fix can be had!

Great mod and extremely fun to play, but it caused an unavoidable crash during a marathon run. T_T Still trying to salvage.

Great mod. Sadly, However, this mod makes some Unique Improvements from other moded civs not appear

@TPangolin Well done! Firaxis have given you the best compliment of all implementing the Kampung pretty similarly in Civ VI's Indonesia :steamhappy:
