Mods Listing (Save and load mods config)

What this does

Mods Listing allows you to save a list of all the currently active (checked in the content manager) mods, assets and district styles. These lists can later be loaded and applied, making the management of a large amount of mods/assets tied to a city easy.

How to use it

To use it, go to Content Manager -> Mods -> Mods Listing -> Options. From there, the list can be saved under any chosen name.

To apply a given list, select it from the dropdown menu and hit one of the the two apply buttons, "Apply Now" or "Apply On Restart".

If you have a lot of mods (30+), it is preferable to us "Apply On Restart", otherwise the update will be very long. However, the number of assets do not slow down the "Apply Now" option, so you can still use it with "Do not affect mods status" enabled!

More to say...

  • You can preview the selected list before applying it, by clicking the "View list" button. It was left as an option because the UI update of the game is very slow with many elements.

  • The selected list can be copied to the clipboard to share it.

  • This mod has no problem dealing with mods/assets you suscribed or unscribed at a later point. When applying a configuration, you can choose how it will handle the mods that have not been listed when saving.

  • This mod uses the UIHelperExtended library from Klyte (TransportManager mod) for a more advanced user interface!

Nice, but it lacks one important feature: subscribe missing mods. I tried other config and I found that even if I don't have mods listed, they are "activated"

Does this mod make an HTML file of all the mods you have installed? If not, Do you know the mod that does it? Thanks

@There is not a share option but this is also not just for mods it is for assets to which I use it primarily for. There is an XML file kept in your City skylines folder for each save you do and you can also go to the options and click "copy to clipboard" and the first part will be what mods are activated/deactivated.

Best thing to do, create a workshop collection that you keep updated on a regular basis of your active mods and share the link that way if you want to share your mod lists.

@silchuki14 For this mod I had included the source with the distribution, it's in the code folder. I can look to commit the code on GitHub one of these days and so people could make change there yeah.

And no, I don't plan to put time in these mods currently, I'm busy working on my own game :)

Is nice but is it possible to get it in my own language ?
I you use :
- GithUb
- Crowdin
Then, just add local Translation folder and put the English file.
Then many people could translate in their own language.

@saintkhawnan - Well I try, I am not an expert and am not afraid to say "I have no idea" and point people to better places but thank you.

In regards to yours. When seen in game like that it is just a generic warning.
1) get the output log - Using that warning a search can be done to find all references to the error to find out more details and hopefully the root cause
2) Get this mod: - While it will give more details IN game about the issue often times, remember the output log is still needed if you need more assitance
3) Since Array Warnings are usually mod related, it doesn't always mean a mod conflict but it can. So make sure to get the Mod Compatibility and try always to post that log along with your output log.

If you want me to look at it for you I don't mind doing so. However since it isn't related to this mod directly you can post it on my profile instead if you like so we don't spam this page :)

@Allystrya... Thanks for all the hard work you put into helping and supporting the CS Community. Concerning my ERROR issue, not saying that it is caused by this mod; yet, was wondering if you would know what MOD may provide a section in a report of "ACTUAL ERRORS" that actually pop up during gameplay and how to FIX them.

Please note, there are NO MODS or ASSETS shown in the ERROR details in this particular ERROR window during game play (as reflected):
"NULL REF ERROR-- Array index is out of range. [System.IndexOutOfRangeException]
No details
As you can see, WHATEVER is causing that ERROR it continues to pop up without end... Trying to unsubscribe to different mods, but to no avail... At first everything is fine during gameplay, but then after some time, that "Null Ref ERROR" never goes away...
