Oh, and for the blending - you might want to try to use pesqueiras new graphic mod and give it a lower priority than my one. He replaced all terrain blendings (the style specific terrain types blend into each other) - looks great. :)

I'm not an artist - actully a musician for a living - but I've always been drawn to art. My sister is a freelance artist for many years now . . . I actually enjoy the look of the game as much as playing it. Thanks again.

2:20 am. I'm a night owl but even owls got to sleep. I appreciate what you do with the game. Always wondered why the software companies don't put more into the graphics from the start.

With a more structured dirt it may look good - without more structure to the dirt it would look out of place I think

I don't "layer" the terrains on top of each other much. In 2.5 it didn't look as convincing because of that contrast. But in 7, I might do more of that - since they blend.

Oh, right - v2.5 had the old beach I took from another mod - that was the main reason to replace it. :)

Later I found this graphic on the internet myself by sticked to my new one.
But I could add some slight structure from it to my beach.

The blending is one of the thinks I tried to work at the most over my packs.
2.5 was different from that in the way it was more of an experiment back then to use more 'realistic' graphics which lead to them blending into each other less then the terrains in my other packs. It was a great starting point for my work at v4 and beyond though (v3 was mostly a content update for v2 instead of something new like my other packs).

I guess what I like about it is that it is distinctly beach - it has a stone/pebble look to it.
