-Other things that I'm probably forgetting right now

====ABOUT====
This mod was originally created for TheSpeedGamers 2015 Mario Marathon in July. It began as a simple reskinning of the character sprites, but quickly grew into a full conversion mod.

TheSpeedGamers, or TSG, is a group based mainly out of Texas that hosts videogame marathons to benefit charity. TSG has been in operation for 7 years and has raised upwards of $500k for various charities including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Direct Relief International, and the Rockin' H Ranch.

TSG's next event is a 72-hour Pokemon Retrothon!
Date: December 17-20
Time: begins at 6pm CST
Place: twitch.tv/thespeedgamers
Charity: The Rockin' H Ranch

====THE SOUNDTRACK====
Along with the visual changes, I've also included a full custom soundtrack for the game by some incredibly talented musicians. Most of the soundtrack is actually free to download off of the artists' websites, so go get some awesome music!

====NOTES====

Due to a number of bugs and issues, the music has been included as Custom Music instead of just replacing the standard files.

TO INSTALL THE MUSIC:
Go into the Necrodancer files (right click on Necordancer in Steam > Properties > Local Files Tab > Browse Local Files). Click "mods," then go into "MushroomDancer," and there should be a folder called "custom_music." Now you just copy all of the contents of that folder, including the beat data files, into the game's custom_music folder. That folder's location depends on what OS you're using.

FOR WINDOWS USERS:
Copy all of the files, then go backwards until you're back in the "Crypt of the Necrodancer" folder. Then, go into "data," then into "custom_music," and paste all of the files there. This SHOULD enable you to then select all of the custom music tracks manually from within the game via the Custom Music option in the start menu. Each track has been labeled with the appropriate level, and the beat data has been included so it shouldn't need to process anything.

FOR MAC USERS:
Copy all of the files, then go backwards until you're back in the "Crypt of the Necrodancer" folder. There should be a folder there called "custom_music." Paste all of the files there, and then you should be able to select all of the custom music tracks manually from within the game via the Custom Music option in the start menu. Each track has been labeled with the appropriate level, and the beat data has been included so it shouldn't need to process anything.

If you have any questions, leave a comment or message me on twitter at the handle above.

Thank you for playing my mod. Enjoy!

it works but, aside of the filename being too close ( its just mushroom dancer in mod files) replacing soundtrack via custom is a chore. i think i just posted a comment about this on the other mod (with exact same name?) very confusing.
also yoshi coins in xml is bad, i don like losing progress to call a crystal , a yoshi coin xD
if there's any thing else xml modified, i didn't see it.
anywyas, its nice, but that soundtrack could easily replace familyjules, so ppl dont need to monkey with files

oh another? i thought i subbed to this.
i hope it doesnt mod the xml to say yoshi coins, liek the other one does...

Music didnt really change.
But once i put it manually it started working... and i kinda want to keep just lobby music.
Other ones not so catchy and also make game harder (especially guitar outro)
Beat? In 10 beats in just one guitar sound? it's lame

You should probably remove the other version of this mod.
Master DEDDY Nov 26, 2015 @ 10:58pm
Works for me :B1:

After subscribing to the mod it appears as though you have to restart steam for it to download the whole 68mb of the mod. Once you've done that the mod should be in the game, and once it has been activated in game the files should appear in the folder "downloaded_mods"

Still Doesn't seem to work...

Ditto, doesn't appear to work for me either.
