Origami Flight is a sidescrolling 2D shoot' em up where you control a paper airplane with a simple but challenging mission: to save the Origami World.

It all starts when a 8-years-old boy decides to take a nap after folding a new paper airplane. As he falls asleep, he enters the Origami World. As soon as he enters this new world, the Tsuru King shows up, damaged and weakened. The origami have been attacked and evil has spread corruption throughout the world. Now addressed as the Hero of Will, he receives from the Tsuru King three of the six sacred weapons capable of restore the world to its former and peaceful self.

Restore the corrupted origami, retrieve all sacred weapons and save the world! Fly!

Among six sacred weapons, three are delivered to the hero while the other three are under control of enemy generals. Fight them and recover the weapons.
Every weapons has its own behavior and can be charged for a even more powerful attack.

Initial Weapons:
  • Bullet
    Normal: Simple shot. Total range, low delay.
    Special: Powerful and indestructible shot, capable of destroying a line of enemies.

  • Boomerang
    Normal: Double shot. Reduced range, medium delay. It moves forward, brakes and then returns wildly, damaging treacherous enemies.
    Sspecial: Boomerang shot shield with limited duration. Everything that touches the shield gets damaged. It does not make you invulnerable, though.

  • Shuriken
    Normal: Shuriken triple shot. Total range, high damage and delay.
    Special: Shuriken triple shot that stay still on screen whenever they hit an enemy. Any enemy that touches the stationary shuriken gets damaged.

Charged shots are capable of producing combos. That means, they add bonus points to your score whenever more than one enemy is defeated by a single shot.
And there's more, every time a combo is started, the hero activates a shield that will protect him until it is hit.
