Network Skins (Park Life compatible)

The first 2 modules of a network skinning mod:
  • Select the pillars of your bridges
  • Select the street lights of your roads
  • Select roadside trees
The mod supports roads, train tracks and pedestrian paths. All features can be selected per segment.

Planned Features (Module 3 and 4):
  • Set the distance between street lights/trees
  • Custom road textures (e.g. cobblestone roads, brick roads)
  • Remove power wires of train tracks
  • Custom power lines (e.g. wooden poles)
  • Custom bridge meshes (SC4-like bridge selection)

How it works:
  • Movable customizer window that only pops up when you use the network tool
  • This mod will only apply visual changes and can be disabled at any time without breaking saves

The mod supports custom street lights created by modellers:

To create your own, look at this tutorial[].

The mod also supports custom pillars created by modellers:

More can be found in the forum thread below the description!

Supported Mods:
  • Network Extensions
  • Fine Road Heights (It is important that you subscribed to the official workshop item. Outdated versions for offline use are not supported!)
  • Precision Engineering
  • Sharp Junction Angles
  • No Pillars (though it sometimes messes up the pillar selection)

Known Incompatibilities
  • "Vanilla Trees Remover" interferes with the pillar replacement feature

Source Code[]

Using the C# detours code[] created by Sebastian Schöner, released under the MIT license.

Also using the CimTools library[] created by PropaneDragon, the creator of Road Namer.

I love this mod but ever since Parklife update its now imcompatible with a lot of mods i used to be able to use with it (like vanilla tree remover, extra landscaping tools, rush hour, etc.) , but i guess its the new code, and it takes a heavy hit on my fps making my game crash even w/o a lot of mods. Gonna unsub til next update hopefully things will be fixed

@Concureguy try to search for some .xml file of this mod if it exists. If dont only way how to reset is unsub this mod and all network you changed (lights, pillars, trees) will reset to vanilla.

Is there a way to reset the road trees back to default (vanilla) while in game rather than having to reload the city? I have SOOOOOO many trees and scrolling is becoming a nuisance.

Boformer is aware of the issues, but in his defence, he has already mentioned that he is busy with IRL stuff and doesnt have a ton of time for the game or maintenance of his mods. Maybe somebody would like to pick up where he left off on this one? We really need an update!

Good mod but very bad communication with mod creators. Noone would be mad if they would say they wont have time to fix it and if any fix will be released in the future or no. Nothing more...

I've been having a small problem with this mod. Whenever the Metro Overhaul Mod is activated, all of my trees and streetlights convert back to their vanila defult, and the menu to change doesn't show up. I'm not sure why, but it only happens when I have MOM enabled. Help?

Doesn't show a panel to change roadside trees? Is there any way to fix this?
mjm92150 Jul 6 @ 11:20pm
Is it possible to customize the panel in my own language as French ?
If it is possible, could you tell me which "xml" file to translate it (and the path) beause I didn't find it on GitHub.
Thanks for your answer.

Is it already fixed or the fps drop is still there?

any way to disable all the highway lights from the start of the map, even those lights that are beyond the first title, or even the 25 title area?
