Green is Lit
"Lazy Mobile Port" Hoards, lower your pitchforks!
Release date: December 2015

StreetWalkingMan is the fast paced, twitch based, Norse mythology, neon-lit, funky beats infused, 2D-arcade-walking-simulator that amplifies the electric alliterations in “scintillating”!

StreetWalkingMan was designed to flood your sensory awareness by means of tight controls, celestial celerity, progress rewards, mischievous AI and the general feeling of becoming more powerful than any man, woman, beast or child.

Step on to the funky beats and get in sync with the Aesir as you unlock progress and powers through prowess and feats of skill, fairly rewarded by an overzealous AI.

(graphics not to scale, just shown for display.)

  • Support for multiple input options include: mouse, keyboard, gamepad and touch control.
  • Colorblindness mode designed specially for deuteranopia, protanopia and tritanopia.
  • Multiple playthroughs encouraged through sensitive reset and restore features.
  • Personal records to encourage honing your skills.
  • Local Multiplayer, Vs and CoOp supported.
  • In-Game User Manual.
  • Custom Circuits for local tournaments for Single Player, Local Co-Op and Versus.
  • Plenty of unlockable game modes and surprises along the way!

But don't just take my word for it, here's the demo!
I made silly mistakes in the gameplay videos... But it's hard! See if you can do better! Talk is cheap, but this game's is literally about walking the walk.

It was meant from the start as a intense, immersive experience for hardcore gamers. This game needs you in the zone 100% Take it for a spin, leave a comment.

  • Steam integrated Achievements
  • World leaderboards here on Steam to prove who's the best of both worlds!
  • Completing the story log's professional narration.
  • Creating sound effects.
  • Circuit Challenges with online records and achievements
  • And more to come! With your support I can update this game forever with skins, game modes, tuning, etc. to keep it alive for those that need their fix of arcade walking through these crowded streets!
  • In the future and with success in this game making life project, I can continue with the StreetWalkingMan saga exploriong the lore, different genres and gameplay mechanics and provide the world with new gaming experiences!

Thank you for your time and stopping by.

Good people of the infinite multiverses, I take this anointment on bent knee, as the work keeps churning on, forever more, until it's done and then beyond.

The blessing of the green light comes as a fortunate act of its juncture, and I would be remiss not to ride its steamy contrail. I assure you many of the people's claims have been addressed, all of them heard and more surprises I bear.

I thank you all, believers, non-believers and cane-wielding haters, for your feedback has proven golden, fruitful and to the betterment of all parties and products involved. It has been a long, hard road, with the best yet to come, but it has been spent wisely for growth.

A new demo will rise, now sooner than ever. I'd venture to say it's coming soon. I believe in free demos, I believe in my game. It's better than ever and it's coming soon.

I will comeback soon, bearing gifts to back my words. For now, you have that: my word as I go down below, back to the mine.

Just a quick update, I've got a lot of doing to get done in other matters of life, such as college, so these past couple weeks I've been under a chicken supernova, Kenny. My coding team is mostly, in its entirety, only me, so my apologies for the delays, I'm juggling a lot balls here. A lot of balls.

I'm primarily working on the resolution rift. The game already works on any resolution. Made up resolutions and all. I'm testing it fullscreen at 1680x1050 and the whole screen is filled with hundreds of little dudes, it's mayhem. It works windowed or fullscreen at any resolution, no matter how big or wide the street is.

But this also means that I have to redo the whole UI, menus, messages, tutorials, all that and more, to fit any screen size. I have to make new high res art assets and systems to manage them. I'm actually really excited about it, should be fun.

Tip: Don't make an original PC game have the aspect ratio of a phone.

Wow, thank you Party_Rhino. It's very encouraging that someone acknowledges the hard work it takes to raise this tent.

I'm just trying to filter the noise and listen to the valid points people make. I'm still working hard on the game, taking advantage of the valuable feedback people provide.

I'm sorry that you have had to waste all your time repeatedly telling people that it is not a mobile port. You've been so active that the direct feedback could have been much more helpful.

I'm going to vote yes even though I don't know if shmups/bullet hell games are my style. I am voting yes because of the presentation.

Thanks joeyjoejnr! Thank you for playing the Demo! I'm working on big changes right now, to accommodate popular demand, but leaving viable the option to play it in this original form as well. Hopefully, by the end of the weekend you'll see big changes and improvements.

Demo's fun, hope to see the game on Steam

Nah, I chose that resolution, but people think it's a mobile because of that. I'm going to make it fullscreen so people will shut up with the mobile accusations.
