If you do not have any other mods active, then yea, logs are needed. And ofc verify your game integrity via steam.
It might just be because I'm using a mod that slows research, resulting in bigger armies and upkeep costs and as such less income. To counteract the dependency on opponents, maybe adding a small static element to the UA. The risk here is that it might push him over the edge towards OP.
Keep in mind this is just my opinion and your mod is actually good! :)
I know the UB can seem a bit underpowered - it takes a bit of planning to really exploit it's ability, but if you're playing with E&D, the Constitution decision makes it a lot stronger.
The UU though, I don't consider that underpowered at all - having two of those adjacent, giving each other combat bonuses, that's almost unstop-able.
In any case, appreciate the feedback. I'll do some further balance testing on the UA and will consider changing it accordingly.
Thanks. Hope you'll enjoy it.

Yeah, this civ as well as my other recently released civ, Kingdom of Denmark (Valdemar II), kind of drowns in the Nile right now, so to speak (though those Egypt civs are all worth it). Just glad some peope actually noticed this mod in the chaos :D.
About the promotion thing, iirc, the enemy spy stealing rate stays upon upgrade, but the bonus to adjacent units doesn't.
