The development of this game is in the hands of you the player! Let me know of any ideas you have for story line, enemies, weapons, items... Or anything else!

I am one person developing a massive game. I know that 2d games might not always get the most respect, but I am pouring my heart into this project and am hoping to immerse you into an wonderful world of fantasy. I am 28 years old and have been coding and building games for nearly 15 years now. I am also an Android developer and have over 2 million download on Google Play. I love building mobile games but it is time to branch out onto Steam and build something truly powerful!

If you have any ideas or find any bugs in the game please let me know, have fun!

Conradproteus, thanks! This was my first time putting something that I created onto Steam Greenlight. I have definitely learned a lot from the process, and hope to do even better with my next project. Still working on Rogue Harvest everyday and trying to make it something special for gamers!

Hey Exovare, glad you saw that post. Starting a game is something that anyone can do. Finishing a game and making it something fun to play is the challenge. I'd be glad to talk about it some more and give you a Key to try out my game as well. Send me an email at: g3n3t1xstudio@gmail.com when you have a chance.

Hey, I was linked here 'cause you posted on http://gamedevelopment.tutsplus.com/articles/marketing-your-indie-game-the-single-most-important-thing-that-no-one-knows-how-to-do--gamedev-7157
that you were going to try for Greenlight. I'm happy to see that you succeeded!
I'm looking into this 'cause I want to start on my own game. Do you have any advice on how to do it?

Rogue Harvest releases on Steam tomorrow - What an awesome experience it has been developing this game, made far greater by the awesome community behind it. I will probably be updating the Store page from now on, but my first experience on Steam Greenlight was very positive. Thanks x9999 to everyone who has reached out and given Rogue Harvest a chance to be a success!

It has came a long way in the last couple of months, especially thanks to having so many people thouroughly test it out and give me honest feedback. I'm still working on the game everyday, and hope to continue to develop it for a long time to come.

great news! I was a bit surprised when I read here it was a more or less finished product, it didn't feel like that when I tried it, but to be fair, I only gave it about 20 minutes, then a tree killed me. I'll definitely re-visit it though, because it looked promising.
