This is an updated version of the ORGM mod made by Fenris Wolf.

This mod adds a ton of new guns, additional calibers, realistic gun operations, spawn mechanics, casings, jamming, and more to PZ. See the forum topic below for more in depth information.

@ormtnman wow nice information on mechanics.

I really find it odd from the testings that 00 buck really hurted more than Slugs which makes me believe I got blasted with more than 1 pellet in one part. (There something screwy going around that sigh)

Also the Super Survivor's AI rarely takes time to aim on shotguns so that might explain why Slugs were weaker from them even though I see a minimum 2 damage per shot. (When using default settings of 0.5 would make them 1 minimum damage).

I wonder just how much damage the Human Survivor can take before dying. I swear to god them Survivor AI is just too beefy, never have I been able to 1-shot kill them even with a full aiming and (.308 Winchester/7.62x51mm) HP rounds or fully decked out Spas-12/Mossberg 590 with 00 bucks/Slug

Here is a response from Fenris: sort of...the flaw with the armor its is using a base % chance to stop all calibers, regardless if its a 22 hollow point or a .308 FMJ, and thats not how armor works, it should be rated to stop up to a specific caliber until its worn out...with the shotguns, you're only ever going to get hit with 1 pellet, no matter if it fires 2, 5 or 10 due to how the target calcuation works. Which is why the damage is higher then at 9mm, its not spread around for the different pellets..PZ will do the same damage regardless if it hits 1 target (assuming a full load) or all 4. the reason we stick to only 5 pellets instead of having a accurate number is to keep PZ from trying to do 9 seperate hit calculations every time you fire the thing into a horde lol

From my 1 shot death earlier I had retested again and again with max health and full armour (no riotshield) had to use infinite carry weight or mod strenght so I don't get back pain which reduces my max hp to 75%. (After that I didn't encounter 1 shots anymore if my health was around 95%-90% (I bleed out too fast and die if I had around 85% hp max hp)

Also the Min damage and Max damage does way more damage than a 9x19mm HP they don't look like 00 buck at all but 000 Buck since it's just 4-5 pellets.

@ormtnman the Hydrocraft Riot/Swat/Kevlar armours have about 80-90% chance to stop that shot from hitting your vitals. (Although not all of them were fully tactical) I had to edit the lua file to add custom tags for the missing Bullet resistances and body part coverages. I also checked earlier on the github Fenris was working on and apparently 00 buck uses 5 pellets but has a max target of 4. The scary part about them shotguns is that the projectiles seem to act ON the shot not as individual bullets meaning that 10% bad luck and you can insta poof since any shot blocked has ! an exclamation point which shows it blocked it ( I had tested versus slugs and it was not as deadly as the buckshot was).
