Feesh featured on Living the Nerd Life!
Release date: Q1 2016
Feesh, sharks included.

Feesh is a minimalist arcade game where you play as a tiny microorganism that resembles a fish. The mechanic is simple; eat smaller feesh to get bigger, and avoid being eaten by bigger Feesh. Survive long enough, and you'll evolve! But try not to get naturally selected.

Some feesh are more rude than others

But sharks are the most rude of all.

Observe the behaviors of the different types of feesh to find out what they do! Or just find out the hard way.

Play single player or local multiplayer modes;
Support for 2-4 players!

Coming to mobile as well as Steam!

More to come
I plan to periodically update the game post-launch, so keep an eye out.

When did you start development for this game?
I originally made this game for the Ludum Dare 48 hour game jam. The first version was made over a weekend and I've recently revisited the project to polish and publish it!

What programs/engine did you use to make this?
I used Unity and Macromedia Fireworks 8!

What inspired the game?
Pretty much since I was small I wanted a game that had this mechanic, so I eventually made it. Visually, this game was inspired in part by Elektroplankton on the DS, and also in part by this image:
