Power Leveling Guide
This is a rework of my old guide (Story Mode + Item Bonuses), focusing on power leveling.

As the 2.0.2 patch, there are still some optimal ways to do Story Mode, but I'll need to study and streamline each chapter, so now this guide is a WIP.
Introduction and Tips
Since the 1.62 Patch[], it's now viable to play Story Mode[] to get any character to Level 60.

This guide assumes that you have 260% XP Bonus: Hero Synergy (200%), old XP Boost (50% for 2 hours), and Cyclops Synergy (10% XP)

Tips and observations!
  • Have this guide open in another device, like a laptop, tablet, or second monitor, it will save you several minutes of alt-tabbing/alt-shifting!
  • Other difficulty modes than Normal (green) aren't viable because the bosses are too strong and create too much downtime.
  • There's still no upside for doing boss Showdowns or getting into Treasure Rooms. Don't waste your time with them.
  • Only engage if you see a cluster of more than 5 enemies and one of them is an Elite mob. Else, use your Travel Power to reach the next quest marker.
  • Get one Godkiller[] Legendary and switch it to every new hero if you're going to prestige that hero several times.
  • There's no better way currently to go from 1-20 than Holo-Sim. Might be hard to hit 20 in just one run, but around Level 18 is fine.
  • In your first wave you need to get one of these, if you don't get it, get out and restart it. Listed in order of importance:
    • Lava Men, Purifiers, Hand, AIM Bots, N'Garai Waves
    • SHIELD Impostors
    • Venom
  • For the second and third waves, any of those except Venom will be fine, if you don't get it, get out and restart
  • You should be higher than Level 18 after finishing these 2-3 waves.
  • Ideally it should take you less than 6 minutes, but up to 10 minutes is fine.
Chapter 1 | Optimal Level Range: ~18+
  • If you're or when you reach Level 20, get a Legendary Quest for Story Mode Chapter 1 and complete it.
  • Go to [HELL'S KITCHEN SOUTH] and complete the quests in order until you reach officer Lt. Higgins, then Bodyslide out.
  • Go to [ABANDONED SUBWAY], defeat Shocker and Bodyslide out.
  • Go to [NIGHTCLUB DISTRICT], complete the quest and proceed to next section.
Chapter 2 | Optimal Level Range: 30+
  • Skip the first quest, it has annoying kismets and loading screens for absolutely no reason.
  • Go to [HIDDEN A.I.M. Laboratory] and complete the "A.I.M. Lab Assault" quest.
  • Bodyslide out.
  • Go to [TASKMASTER INSTITUTE] and complete the "An Important Task" quest.
  • Go to [CARGO BARGE], complete the "Barge In" quest and proceed to the next section.
Chapter 3 | Optimal Level Range 35+
  • Complete the "Meet In Madripoor", "The Lost Patrol" and "Snakes in the Grass" quests in order.
  • Bodyslide out and proceed to the next section.
Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7
The first quests of these chapters are too annoying and unoptimal, just proceed to Chapter 8 when reaching around level 43.
Chapter 8 | Optimal Level Range: 43+
  • Go to [A.I.M. WEAPON FACILITY] and complete the chapter quests in order until you reach Level 57 or Level 59.
  • Proceed to the next section.
Chapter 9 | Optimal Level Range: 57+
  • Go to [ANCIENT RUIN SITE] and complete the Heimdall quest.
  • Keep doing the chapter quests until you're 60, you should hit 60 after talking to Sif
With at least ~700% XP boost + server-side boost
I did several 1-60 testings with this boost amount and I believe it's this the optimal way to 1-60. In one case I could finish it in 10 minutes.:

  • Enter Holo-Sim at Level 1. You need to aim for either Lava Men or Hand waves. Lava Men is the perfect wave for leveling.
  • You should reach level 28-32 in just one or two waves. After reaching that level, get out of Holo-Sim.
  • Do Chapter 1 at Normal (green) difficulty.
  • By the end of the chapter, you should be Level 60.
v4.0 (3/10/2017)
  • Finally got some time to test the guide: re-formatted first few chapters, added Holo-Sim and way more stuff.
v3.3 (3/6/2017)
  • Re-added some of the chapters for a normal leveling guide.
v3.2 (3/6/2017)
  • Added a small guide when you have a ton of boosts going on.
  • Removed some of the latter chapters, since I'll be condensing the guide even more in the future.
v3.1 (1/24/2017)
  • Re-added Chapters 2, 3 and 5 with hints and suggestions, changed Guide name and description.
v3.0 (1/24/2017)
  • Changed description, deleted Chapters 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 which now are self-contained. The rest of the data is still useful.
  • Added first draft of the "Essentials Only" list.
  • Updated Chapters 1, 2 and 9.
  • Did my best to fix all the typos and inconsistencies.
  • Removed several notes that were outdated with current meta.
  • Removed Prologue since it's completely useless with current meta.
  • Updated tips with links.
  • Changed the guide's name.
  • Guide updated to chapter 10.
  • Guide Released.

Not possible anymore? Aww.
NSANE  [author] Jul 5, 2017 @ 10:50pm
you need a ton of old boosts like the Winter or Penta, plus server side buffs. It's meant as a mini-guide for that rare occasion.

So confusing how will i get 700% XP booster amount?
NSANE  [author] Jun 7, 2017 @ 1:51am
AFAIK you should do Holo-Sim and whatever you can until level 30, and then do a full run of Story mode.
Also run all the boosts you can.

Hey everyone! I did a massive update to the guide, which a lot of time savers. Holo-Sim, and Chapters 1-7 are 100% finished but I still need to do some checkups for the latest chapters, figure out which one is the fastest way.

You need to go to Mission Log menu. If you already all rewards on a chapter, you'll see a little yellow trophy next to it.
