Lowglow has been Greenlit!
Lowglow now has a playable Alpha!
Description

Lowglow is a puzzle game with awesome physics and controls that offer multiple different ways of solving each level. The game breaks the traditional way of solving puzzles. Instead of having to find the one and only way to solve something you just need to catch the idea of the level and you are free to complete the level the way you feel like doing it.

As the game progresses it offers the player lots of different mechanics to keep the gameplay fresh and challenging. The gameplay is laidback and doesn’t rely on fast reactions. And all of this is being tied together with a story takes the player on a journey to help the realm of Umbralighte.

• Innovative physic altering mechanics
• Visually relaxing experience
• Simple yet engaging gameplay
• Different difficulty levels depending how deep an experience are you looking for
• Audio environment that reacts to the gameplay
• Over 75+ levels
• Unlockable bonus levels

Lowglow's physic mechanics revolve around different gravities. The player leads the light drops to the goal, by creating walls to bounce the drops. By bouncing, aiming and mastering the gravities, the player is able to find the flow of lowglow. There is no rush in unraveling these twisting puzzles. Puzzles extend to chapters in the realm of Umbralite. Every chapter is themed differently and bring something new mechanic wise. Umbralite is full of glow, humour and time to think. Shadowfolk, especially their master Wol, will keep you entertained while you discover the dark story that is keeping the shadowfolk on their toes.

Hello fellow gamer!
We are a team of five developers living in Finland. We wanted to make a game that would differ from the hectic trend that is going on and we hope you could soon enjoy it. We have been making this game for about 5 months now and we are excited to see what the steam community thinks about it.

Thank you for taking the time to check us out!
Team Rockodile

For as long as the multiverse remembers, harmony had existed between light and dark.
In the beginning of everything, light and dark existed separately. The forces were individual concentrations of power - spheres of massive intensity. But when order eventually turned into chaos, these two abstract authorities revolved and merged.

Umbralite is a singularity in the center of the collision. Though it exists in the swirl, it has been a balanced and peacefull realm. Light and dark once created something abiotic here. Something that is dependant of both of these forces. Shadowfolk.

Wolg' Wol is the oldest shadow. Wolg was created by the first rays of light that found Umbralite.
Soon more shadows started appering. They soon habited the realm of Umbralite as their own and a kingdom of sorts was born.

Shadows discovered lightblocks, physical concentrations of light, and mined them for their radiant qualities.
These glowing blocks, formed in different shapes, are lowglow. With the aide of lowglow, the realm could extend deeper towards Umbralites core where the darkness would normally swallow the shadows.

In the new center of Umbralite, Opa City was founded. The Great shadow Dynasty had begun.
It wasn't long after the realm got divided into districts by wealth, measured in lowglow.
Greedy little shadows...

It is considered that the sudden shifts in the balance are what caused something to awaken deep in the core. A pitch black entity that would one day obstruct all light from Umbralite. Without light the shadowfolk are in danger of vanishing and they would have already, if it weren't for the lowglow.

Now the shadows hardly survive. And the shimmer of lowglow is just barely enough to hold back the darkness. Shadows are struggling while the darkness tries to find a way to spread uninhibited and swallow everything on its way.

@Crythorn Haha, true :D! We didn't even realise that connection but now that you mentioned it; yes, this game has some in common with the lemmings! Maybe it was my subconcious affecting the development, since I played the old lemmings alot back in the day. It was a great game! (In my wildest dreams I wish we would achieve similar prestige.)
