Delaware (Civilization)

In this mod, you play as Jack Markell, the Governor of Delaware State. The First State, as it's known, is usually the last state on anybody's mind. However, you have the power to change all that. Like Alexander of Macedonia, you have the power to rise from the ashes of mediocrity, to crush the world under your humble home state. Live up to the nickname, "The First State."

The unique traits of Delaware include:

UA: Tax-Free Shopping
Trade routes with other civs provide +2 culture and +1 science but -1 gold (compared to a normal trade route.) All Great Tile Improvements provide +1 gold. Tourism increases by 50% during Golden Ages.

UU: the Punkin Chunker
This unit is based on the annual Punkin Chunkin festival, in which citizens gather to see who can launch a pumpkin the farthest using homemade catapults, cannons, and the like. The Punkin Chunker unit is slightly weaker than the catapult, which it replaces. However, it is able to fire twice in one turn, and it is much cheaper to build.

UB: DuPont Plant
The DuPont Plant replaces the Research Lab. It is based off of the numerous research and development facilities made by the DuPont family in Delaware during the past century and a half. The DuPont Plant allows for 20% greater production towards siege units, reflecting the work on explosive ordinance that DuPont did. It also has two engineer slots rather than the default one scientist, to show DuPont's greater forcus on engineering.
