Tanks Selection Screen Updates
We've been meddling with the tank selection screen to improve the overall appearance, and player functionality of the game. You can also enter your personal username! These are still early dev images, as we plan on implementing personal tank stats. But, for now, here are some pics and some videos for your enjoyment.

Tank/Username Selection Screen

In-Game Usernames and Damage Notifications
We thought it only right that you can find the target you want to seek revenge on, by adding in player's usernames. These will appear above your own tank but, most importantly, other players tanks. We've also made sure to add damage notifications to tanks, to provide players with information on the damage they've received and inflicted on others... this is especially more satisfying when you make a critical HIT!

Further In-Game Notifications
We've also implemented more useful notifications to the game. Information that players like to see, for example; Who you just killed, who just killed you, what Power-Up you just picked up, who just entered the server, and who left? These will improve over time and provide the most useful info to players as TNT evolves.

In-Game Notifications

Secondary Weapons and Ammo Refill Power-Ups
We've made some slight changes to the secondary weapons. Firstly we've implemented a 'burst' mechanic. This helps reduce the network information and makes things more manageable. We've also added SMG's to the sides of tanks, which will eventually become removable and changeable, allowing players multiple options that will affect their performance in the battlefield.

Improved Player Highlighting
Due to the nature of the camera perspective, we've noticed that the player can become lost behind objects in the game and this becomes quite frustrating, especially when you can't see where you are behind objects. So, we've updated our highlighting system to provide a much better perspective for the player:

TNT Game Levels & Exciting News!
Tracks and Turrets Game Levels

Follow Tracks and Turrets on Facebook[]

As we've promised, in the game features, Tracks and Turrets will have multiple, online, game modes 'and' a single-player mode. Online game modes will include the obvious suspects; Deathmatch, Team Deathmacth, Capture the Flag and a couple of other game modes that should spruce-up the standard multiplayer experience up a notch, such as: Strongholds, Defender and a new game style that we're not going to reveal, just yet!

We thought we'd show you some of the levels we've been working on, in which, you can play these online modes, just to help you get a glimpse of what we've been doing.

Wastelands is a large level and can cater for up to 24, online, players.

It's a level that's had a lot of time and effort invested in it. But we'll be adding more destructible props and objects to make it look even better, as development continues.

Wastelands has 17 power-Up pads for players to collect much-needed ammo resources and additional Power-Ups to help you win the battle.

We've tried to add plenty of interesting routes, and landmarks, to help you navigate the level, track down your enemies and ambush them!

Wastelands should provide you with hours of online, chaotic, tank-battling fun, especially when the level is at maximum capacity :).

Desertlands is a much smaller level, catering for a maximum of 8 simultaneous players.

Desertlands is small, compact, and ideal for a small group of friends who can battle it out amongst themselves, or just to have a quick 15 minutes of fun.

Desertlands has lots of obstacles, and cover-points, to provide ways to ambush, or outwit, your friends. You'll be chasing, firing, and quick-covering in succession to save your own skin whilst players try to catch you around every corner.

Desertlands has 9 power-Up pads for players to collect much-needed ammo resources and additional Power-Ups to help you win the battle.

These are just some of the many levels that we're working on, and will endeavour to bring you even more screenshots from our other game levels, we're currently working on, for Tracks and Turrets. We hope to bring you more game development news, next week!

Our Exciting News!
We also hope to have some VERY exciting news for you all in the next couple of weeks regarding Tracks and Turrets, and getting your hands on the Pre-Alpha Build of the game!!! Keep an eye on all our social media sites, and of course ModDb, IndieDb etc.

Many thanks for all of your AWESOME support, so far,

That's cool, I had to vote based on what I saw :) Congrats on getting greenlit!

@Synol this issue has been addressed. It had to do with the destroyed tanks not appearing on all clients. It was on the very first stages of the game. TNT is in Pre-Alpha, so not everything has been tweaked and perfected as it should be. It's what any developer, at this stage, would experience so early in the dev.

Wow! We've been Greenlit!!! Thanks Very, Very much to all of those who voted, Yes, for Tracks and Turrets :D.
Synol Sep 9, 2015 @ 8:10am
In the multiplayer video it looks like the hits/shots are not synced up to the explosions you see. Meaning that dodging shots would be impossible and 100% luck. Can't give a yes vote to a game with bad netcode.
