Basic Info and Tips
These recipes are meant for the cooking pot and will not work in a fireplace.

PSA: DO NOT USE WOOD TO COOK FOOD RECIPES!!!!
Use Thatch/Sparkpowder as wood creates charcoal and that could trigger the berries to be used for paint instead of the recipe you were intending to make.

These food items have a 5 hour lifetime on a player and a 20 hour lifetime on dinos.

Charcoal gets made automatically by burning wood in a fireplace/furnace/cooking pot or standing torches.

We will update as we get more recipes.

Here are the measurements.

Serving of meat: 3 Cooked meat
Handful of berries: 10 berries
Dollop of medicine: 4 medicine
Submerge in Water: You also need a waterskin/water Jar in the pot.

You do not need the recipe in the pot.

How to make Jerky.
Making Jerky require you to have a Preservation bin.

For normal Cooked Jerky you will need:

1 Cooked meat
1 Oil
3 Sparkpowder

Leave it in the bin and presto you will have 1 Cooked meat jerky in about an hour or so.

For Prime meat Jerky you need:

1 Cooked Prime meat
1 Oil
3 Sparkpowder.

Leave it in the bin and after about an hour you will have 1 Prime meat Jerky.

Both types of Jerky have a spoil timer of 2 days but if left in the bin with sparkpowder has a spoil timer of 20 days.

If I understand it correctly you are getting pink oil that spoils too easy and trying to get normal (black) oil is too difficult. Farming Trilobytes gives you normal oil and if you are near Carno Island (Tiny island on the north Eastern side of the main Island) you should be able to farm them on foot although a raptor is quite good for fast farming. They also give you silica pearls and chitin.

depedning on the map you can get oil from oil bugs or from underwater oil nodes or from an oil extracter. I think there are more but for the life of me I can't recall them all.

It used to work. Also I cook with tons more than I need because of spoiling. Then again I have not played Ark since they stopped trying to fix the game to focus on overpriced DLC. :)
