An earthquake of cataclysmic proportions annihilates the world and
ushers in what many address as "the end of times". But is it really the

Join one man as he travels the world in order to unravel the truth
behind these catastrophic events.

What you can expect:

– A refreshing take on the random battle system that rewards grinding, or allows you to skip fighting altogether.
– 16 side quests, many of which utilize a "fast travel" turn-in system.
– Over 40 in-game achievements.
– A tiered crafting system with over 100 craftable items.
– Semi-randomized loot system that encourages exploration. Over 500 lootable objects.
– Original soundtrack and graphics.
– Two difficulty levels.

This project is very important to me. The initial concept is from over 15 years ago when my friend and I first found the OHRRPGCE. Not really knowing what we were doing, we goofed around with the engine and devised a game called Fred's Crazy Adventures. Sadly it was never actually finished, and was only released in the form of a laughable demo to a small audience.

Back in 2008, I released a title that was largely based on the original game, called "The Omega". While it received praise within the small network of people it was released to, it was still largely incomplete and lacked an original soundtrack.

Fast forward to 2011, I decided to remake The Omega, and henceforth call it "Ruin". What started out as a project to simply "finish up" The Omega quickly morphed into an entirely new game only loosely based on its predecessor. After four years of off and on development (by myself, mind you; not a team of developers), I am ready to release Ruin to the masses.
