I noticed that many rookie players have problem with overcoming the computer player (A.I). So I made the decision about creating simple tutorial on "how to win the war".

PART One: Anti-aircraft warfare
Maintaining total air superiority is a key to success. This is non negotiable. Rules are simple. You need to follow them and you will prevail.

Aerial defence:
It's absolutely necessary to have Air Superiority aircrafts in the deck. That's you're choice, so choose wisely. You have many options available. F-14 Tomcat’s are bad example. Use F-15 insted. (Important things are speed, missile range and accuracy.)
Ground Air Defence:
- MPADS: infantry with Anti-Air launchers. It's very effective against incoming enemy helicopters. But you should keep them behind frontline. They're not as that good against infantry or vehicles. (REMEMBER)
- Short range Anti-Air: Use them if you want but be careful. I keep them close to actual task force. They might be easy destroyed then. (Example: Vulcan).
- Medium range Anti-Air: Destroying both planes and helicopters. (MIM-72 Chaparral, Avanger).
- Long range Anti-Air: Only against enemy planes. (MIM-23 Hawk)

PART Two: Special Operations and Reconnaissance
War it's not only about "fighting with enemy face-to-face". Real war hides there where anyone can’t see you.
Use Recon units and Special Forces to get information about enemy movements. Try to sneak out near enemy bases to know where Command Vehicles and FOBs are (Infantry). Try to monitor routes and important places (Helicopters and Vehicles).

Remember there are may kinds of recon unit in the game:
- Infantry: Chose wisely. Something with good accuracy and AT launcher would be good for this role. Tell them to hold fire, enemy might not see them. But be careful where you sending them.
- Vehicles: You should send them with task force. Hide them in woods etc. They're are your eyes. They might engage enemy if necessary but avoid that.
- Helicopters: Best recon unit ever made. They're target number one for enemy. Tell your helicopter to hold fire. Place them near frontline (on your side). Hide them over the wood also.

Special Operations (Behind Enemy Lines) are very important. Sometimes just one unit can end battle even if your main force are losing battle. Like I said. Tell the them to cease fire (be careful, if they will be attacked they will be destroyed). Send not one but couple units.

My choice: for good protection and availability to engage enemy high value targets: (Special Force [Infantry tab], Recon Infrantry [from Recon tab], and MANPAD [Infasntry tab], you may also chose infantry with long range AT launcher)

And one more thing... Special Forces mission is not to fight enemy, it's watching and listening what is happening in the AO.
PART Three: Overcome Adapt and Improvise
Use main forces to held enemy movement. Don’t attack if you can’t see what’s out there. Use smoke screen to hide your movements and artilery to target high value targets, and many units in one place only.

There is no simple scenario for the battles. Like United States Marines says: Overcome Adapt and Improvise

Use BRAIN too if you have one.

Well 2 bad things that stared at me mate where:

1. Chapparel is not a medium range AA, it has 3150m range vs helicopters which is the highest range. I-Hawk might have a higher range vs airplanes but a way lower range vs helicopters and can be outranged by most pact helicopters (i-Hawk. 2625m range, pact helicopters 2800m range)

2. Recon helicopters are not number 1 target and best recons. the have the widest spotting range but they dont spott well into forrests or bushes. also they dont spot well vs stealthy units like snipers. Snipers are the actual dangerous spotters. they hide well even on open fields.
