Steam Release
Release date: Now
Übergame is a free open source multi-purpose multiplayer game.

Currently it offers basic deathmatch gameplay on one demo map with different weather conditions, but more content will follow as development progresses. As the game is open source with no determined goal, people are able to play the game from the alpha stage on.

The main focus of this project is on producing a truly free game, not just free to play.
This means the game will not contain any pay elements or other hidden conditions.

The second big feature is the freedom the game gives you, it comes with a built in editor, which allows to build your own levels or modify the game itself. So if you produce good content, which the community approves, it can be merged with the main game and so you can influence the path the game develops, yourself.

If you already want to play the early alpha version as non-steam standalone you can get it at:

There is a chat and kill feed, it is both in the chat window.

Looks nice!! But need some extra things like chat, kill feed or something!! Now it's only shoot, die and spawn!! But I voted Yes! This game can be better and have a good begin! :mkb:

You cannot really expect people help building the game, since this requires some deeper knowledge and time.
I more plan to build some kind of framework where it is easy to add new content, like levels and objects.
But I will listen to critique and try to improve based on that.

For all of the doubters - if you don't like something about it, remember that it's OPEN SOURCE! You can always fix/add/change it yourself.

I know the on-line version of Duion and I have to say, he is dedicated and has come up with a very nice way to keep working with an engine that has not had the love that it should have had. Endorse this game concept, this is what Greenlight SHOULD be about. Believe it or not, this developer will push this open source engine well beyond what is expected. The game is free, he wants to build a community that supports the idea not milk your cash like all these other 'SURVIVE THIS OR THAT CRAP' we see here. Can't go wrong with passion, skill and drive.

OR...... keep clicking on all the CRAP that uses the same, same freakin asset store crap from unity.... your call.
