Thank you for your support - Prismatica is now available on Steam
Description
Release date: 1 Jul @ 10:00am
Prismatica is a new type of twisty puzzle game, inspired by Rubik’s Cubes, Sudoku, Dodecahedrons and way, way too much caffeine, where the goal is to unscramble a series of puzzle boards by rotating multicolored pieces to match a logical pattern. It’s easy to learn and simple to play but surprisingly deep and difficult to master at later levels, presenting even the most veteran of puzzle enthusiasts with brain-tickling challenge.

Prismatica's aesthetic design and feel is intended to be calm and essentialist, presenting the player with a pure puzzle to focus on solving in a flowing natural way. A hauntingly beautiful soundtrack from award winning indie folk musician Svarar Knutur reinforces the stoic atmosphere of contemplation and mental challenge presented by the deceptively simple looking puzzles.

Idea for colourblind mode, if you don't already have one.

even though it's dreadfully simple (and basically just the powerup formation from hexicHD, a free launch game on the xbox 360), it's got a clear style and decent presentation.

You get a vote for effort.

The thing is, wouldn't this be better on a mobile plataform? I think it is an amazing concept, but I don't think it will work out on Steam. Maybe you can do both?

Great job, great game. Hope you guys have success! =]

Been seeing some comments about a colourblind mode: It's not a bad idea! Even if you just put in an option to see the names of the colours on the tiles themselves, it would greatly help people like me, who see two tiles of the same colour on the cover image for the game :)
Anyway, we need more hard puzzle games, and this game looks like it could be one of them. Can't wait!

By the way, thanks so much for your support and comments guys, I really appreciate it. I'm looking forward to getting Prismatica into your hands as soon as possible as well as in the hands of anyone looking for a puzzle game with a new "twist".

Oh, that was an awesomely bad pun! Should have used it in the trailer! :D

Apparently I was using this comment system all wrong so I moved my previous answers the the discussions part (including a new one about the capital letters in the trailer).
