Description
This mod translates all faction names into Latin - including rebels and separatists, for when you're playing as the Romans and can't be bothered to learn what those barbarians outside the Empire actually call themselves.

I also have a version with faction names in their native languages (where I could find them). Both can be found on the workshop, and also on TWC here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?680688-Authentic-Faction-Names This thread also includes a full list of the faction names.

The change to Greek as imperial official language was made after (or under) Heraclivs, about 620-650 AD, the name Byzantine (which i hate as i think many players) was born as a sort of "poetry license" of the writers of XIX century, the Romans always called themselves Romans, before Latin Imperium Romanvm/Romanorvm then Greek Basileia ton Romaioii/Romaion .. there's no difference "Bizantines" never existed really at their times!!

Aristoxenu ; They are Romans not "Byzantines" and they spoke Latin and Greek way before this time period but the change in the empire to use officially Greek was made way after this time period.

Could you do a mod where the Roman units speak Latin and Byzantine ones, Greek?

Age of Vikings? Is that a mod? Then probably not. But it does work just fine with AoC, though I would say that that many of the Latin names are at least a little anachronistic in AoC, since many of those factions were never really referred to in Latin.

does it work with aoc and age of vikings?

I'm busy at the moment, but if you want to send me a list of names, I'll see what I can do. Don't expect anything soon though.

Hey i have a suggestion to make:
What about to Latinize the Duchy of Provence, in the info it says that it is very traditionall, that there was few germanic influences, or even complete absence of germanic influence, can you make a Latin roster name for its Generals and Agents, like this it will be historically accurate, if you agree i can help you with the names
