Due to the recent update by valve you can now charge for mods on the skyrim workshop what better way than to protest it then in game.

The sign could be found at any vender that sells weapons.

I recommend you take a screenshot of your character holding the sign to show everyone that you don't aprove of paying for mods.

Side 1. “FREE THE MODS”
Side 2. “No paid mods”

Why I am against paying for mods?

All a mod is and all a mod should be is something that a developer made either for fun or to show off their skills. If random people come over to earn money getting your mod to front page would be imposible. It would become a competitive thing more people with the proper tools will come over and knock all the people with free programs out.

paid modding would have only BROUGHT IN NEW MODDERS. i would have continued to make good mods for the nexus like i always have... i havent uploaded any to steam

Each time I think of paid mods I picture downloading a mod and.

"Go to this steam page buy the rest of this mod"

"Welcome to The lost Hand Island this mod is just a demo and please buy the full mod for more content"

"Each one of the new spells is $0.05 and there is 1000 total spells"

And of course there will be a none Bethesda made dlcs for 25$ each, made by groups of 10 developers.

Yes that was all worth our freedom.
