Description
Release date: October 1, 2015

Description
Shiny Gauntlet is a Dungeon Hack n Slash, Bullet Hell, Rogue-Lite Adventure.

Select your champion and explore the Gauntlet. Collect weapons, enchanted rings, bottle and/or consume the mysterious remains of defeated foes, all the while chasing the wily cultist who has stolen your Shiny Shard!
Inspired by games such as Binding of Isaac and Legend of Zelda, Shiny Gauntlet is a game designed for players who like short play sessions of intense difficulty.

Features
  • Fight your way through a randomly generated death labyrinth!
  • 20 playable classes!
  • 60 enchanted rings!
  • Bottle the remains of your foes and consume them later for powerups (if you're into that sort of thing).
  • A really SHINY shard!

Its a little rough around the edges and I have some more fun things planned for it but the base game is done.

Grab the game from the humble store:
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/shinygauntlet_storefront

Or from itch.io:
http://spritewrench.itch.io/shinygauntlet

A demo version of the game is also available on the itch.io page!

This looks really cool. I play a lot of turn-based roguelikes and I've been getting into action roguelites like Binding of Isaac and Wizard's Lizard. The bullet hell element seems fun, as does the moving and limited lighting. Good music and nicely distinctive art style, too. I hope to see you on Steam.

Hey @Crimson of Rose. I think I'm starting to see the similarity that you're pointing out. You're referring to the string progression correct? Asked my Sound Guy about it. He assures me he constructs his tunes from scratch and that any similarities to other works are just coincidences. I'm actually a little flattered by the comparison. Thanks for pointing this out though!

Not a stretch... that is the theme I hear.

@Crimson of Rose Not sure what you mean? I'm going to assume you're referring to the Trailer track. All the tracks for the game are unique and done by our Sound Guy. You could argue that there is a similarity at the intro (though I feel its bit of a stretch). Feel free to hear the full track here: https://soundcloud.com/limefacex/night-stalker-2
