Calling for beta-testers UPDATE!
Calling for beta testers!
Release date: Fall 2016
Zombie Hunter, Inc. can be described as Left 4 Dead meets Golden Axe. It is a top-down PC shooter set in Washington, DC. Your job is to rescue survivors from the zombie apocalypse . . . for a reasonable fee, of course. More than an arcade shooter, Zombie Hunter, Inc. also includes gear customization, quests, and non-linear storytelling with branching paths to deliver the most exciting top-down shooting you’ve ever seen.

Playable demo with a 4-player co-op mutiplayer is coming soon, meanwhile --
visit our website!

  • Team up online with three players in SURVIVAL MODE against ever-challenging waves of zombies to protect a survivor’s home. Use teamwork and your aiming skills to gain the upper hand and shoot zombies in the head. Spend the money paid by survivors to buy better guns. The difficulty will ramp up very fast: if a single zombie reaches the right side of the screen, it’s game over.
  • Have three of your friends join you in CAMPAIGN MODE to explore the abandoned streets of post-apocalyptic Washington, DC. You’ll rescue survivors for money, discover secret areas, fight hordes of zombies, and unravel the mystery of a radio distress signal coming from the besieged White House.
  • Zombie Hunter, Inc. features unique aiming mechanics that prevent the player from shooting in all directions while allowing for accurate headshots. You need those headshots because they will allow you to dispatch zombies much faster, save sparse ammunition . . . and boost your chances of surviving the zombie apocalypse.
  • Each gun you find (or buy) in Zombie Hunter, Inc. will have unique fire/reload mechanics and strengths/weaknesses you’ll have to leverage. Some guns will be strong against specific zombies, while others might allow you to clear large quantities of the undead quickly. You will have to master the game’s unique aiming mechanics and choose your loadout carefully in order to become the ultimate zombie hunter.

When we created Zombie Hunter, Inc., we were largely inspired by the brilliant Swedish shooter Seal Hunter. The survival mode is our homage to this great game. Your job is to protect a survivor’s home from ever-increasing waves of zombies. The survivor is paying you for every zombie you shoot -- as you earn money, you can spend it on better guns. At the same time, you have more gun options than money. You have to choose the right weapon progression and master every weapon in order to win.
However, we wanted to make Zombie Hunter, Inc. more than an arcade shooter. In campaign mode, the gameplay will be closer to traditional RPGs. You will be able to roam large levels set in post-apocalyptic Washington, DC solving puzzles, discovering secrets, scavenging for loot and guns, trading them with wandering merchants, and rescuing survivors from the horde.

We were also inspired by games such as The Last Stand and Elona Shooter -- our goal was to try new game modes based on what we experiences while playing both games. There will be missions in Zombie Hunter, Inc. where you need to protect an area or a house from zombies by building and repairing barricades, setting traps... And shooting the hell out of them!

We loved the way weapons and levels were designed in games like Gun Girl 2, where some guns allow you to jump higher or perform other unique maneuvers and levels have unreachable areas where you can only get into when you found a weapon with the needed ability. Most of our existing guns already influence your movement with recoil and we will definitely add the secret areas in our game where you will be able to take advantage of that maneuverability.

The campaign mode starts with you being rescued from a zombie mob by a guy named “Bob.” It turns out that Bob created a company called Zombie Hunter, Inc. after the zombie apocalypse has engulfed the world, and now is making money by rescuing survivors from the undead. Since you have nothing to offer, Bob takes you under his wing as a zombie hunter trainee. Now as a member of Zombie Hunter, Inc., your job is to respond to radio distress calls and move out whenever a survivor calls for help.

Survivor missions will be hand-crafted with unique plot lines and memorable characters. In addition, each survivor will impact the story in a meaningful way. There will be situations where several possible clients call for help at same time -- you will have to choose who to save! Your choices will shape progress, allowing for a whole new level of replayability.

At some point during the campaign, Bob will receive a distress call from the White House: the President of the United States is calling for help! Bob is a patriot, however, so he immediately responds to the distress call. Washington is swarming with the undead, and the mission is basically suicide. To make matters worse, Bob and his crew are not the only ones trying to get to the President…
Rescuing the President of the United States is a big deal. There is no shortage of evil-minded marauders hoping to gain from the U.S. government’s misfortune. Naturally, such characters also have a preference for wiping out the competition. Don’t forget the Russians either! A popular rumor state that the Russians staved off some of the zombies due to their overly-militarized society. It turns out that the Russian president is sending his very best troops (the Spetznaz) to capture the american president -- murdering all who stand in their way.
