How to get SSJ (might take multiple runs for some people)

Quickest Way and cheapest way to get Super Saiyan 1

Walkthrough

Select Parallel Quest #14 "The Legendary Super Saiyan" Might be best to do it with actual people.

Make sure Frieza doesn't die since he is always taking Goku's Super Kamehameha to the face when he goes SSJ

Order of killing:

1) Kill Piccolo
2)Kill Gohan (Vegeta Spawn as soon as Gohan or Piccolo goes down)
3)Kill Vegeta (Goku and Krillin spawn as soon as Vegeta goes down)
4)Damage Goku until he is around a quarter or less health
5)Kill Krillin with an Ultimate attack
6)Kill Goku
7)Goku revives and goes SSJ
8)Finish SSJ Goku
9)Hope it drops for the end rewards

*Note* SSJ uses the Ki bar so make sure you have an ability to recharge Ki if you want to keep it up. SSJ takes a Ultimate attack slot

I've always played Human so SSJ was never anything I needed. Natural Ki regen > Ultimate spam in my opinion.

He went SSJ 3 times on 3 different runs (that I completed) and still nothing. Do I have to play as my saiyan character or can I use other character (like playing as freeza) to do it?

All you have to do is kill krillin before goku, then there is a CHANCE that Goku will go SSJ. Then there is a CHANCE you will beat him before he butchers Frieza. Then there is a CHANCE that it drops. Do yourself a favor and buy it from the skill shop

It looks like a chance of him coming back up as SSJ so you might need to do multiple runs

Mission ends when I kill goku, he doesn't revive and go SSJ

You really need to kill Krillin before killing Goku. After that, you can't finish with all his health before he ends up speaking (when he is saying to Frieza how mad he is) or he cannot revive as SSJ.
He will revive as SSJ when he finishes talking, not when he is without HP.

Anyone know why sometimes Goku won't actually go SSJ? Even though Krillin is killed first?
