NTHUSIM is a video driver that allows gaming enthusiasts to visually immerse themselves in the gaming world. Enable any AMD Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround gaming title to use multi-projector simulation visuals. You can add up to three projectors to your gaming PC for seamless circular projection. Use NTHUSIM to calibrate your projection to the screen surface using advanced warp and blend technology. With NTHUSIM, you can achieve high fidelity simulation visuals while gaming at home.

NTHUSIM began its development journey back in 2007 when a group of flight simulator enthusiasts approached industry leaders to make an immersive simulation product for home users. NTHUSIM was born as the first multi-projector warp and blend software designed specifically for the consumer market. At present, NTHUSIM is in its 7th year of development. NTHUSIM 4.1: Steam Edition seeks to better accommodate gamers by integrating into the Steam ecosystem.

At a time when virtual reality is stealing the headlines, we've found that head mounted displays (HMDs) are not always the best. For example,
  • You want to share your gaming experience with multiple people in the same room.
  • You want to see your own keyboard, mouse and HOTAS controllers.
  • You want to implement a fully interfaced racing or flight cockpit.
  • You want to play a game, but it is not supported by a VR headset.
Multi-projector is the best option in those scenarios when you want a truly immersive visual experience. NTHUSIM works with game titles without requiring special SDK integration. We know NTHUSIM isn't for everyone, but we want to make it available on Steam for those that want to go above and beyond the regular gaming setup.

For years, NTHUSIM has been a self-published title that has relied upon grassroots word of mouth for sales. While that strategy has been successful, we also believe that NTHUSIM is a good fit for Steam. NTHUSIM's key titles are also Steam titles, these include flight simulator titles such as Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition, X-Plane 10 Global, and DCS: World 2 and racing simulator titles such as Assetto Corsa, iRacing and Project CARS. While our target audience is flight and racing simulation, you are not limited to those genres. NTHUSIM is designed to work with any AMD Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround enabled game.

One key feature of NTHUSIM is a technique called "warping." Projectors are designed to project onto a flat screen surface. NTHUSIM takes the flat projection and maps it into a grid of columns and rows that can be calibrated to a curved screen surface. Consumer projectors are unable to compensate for a curved screen surface on their own. NTHUSIM's "warping" technology is critical to correct the projection.

Edge-blending lets you combine multiple projectors into a single seamless image. Each projector overlaps with its neighbor, and NTHUSIM calibrates an "edge-blend" in the overlap. Once calibrated, the multiple projections act as one continuous, uninterrupted visual system. This ensures the visuals are seamless and consistent throughout your field of view.

  • Single, Dual & Triple Projector
  • AMD Eyefinity 2x1 and 3x1
  • Nvidia Surround 2x1 and 3x1
  • Matrox DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go
  • Nvidia 3D Vision Kit

  • AMD Radeon HD 5000-series or newer video card or
  • Nvidia GeForce 400-series or newer video card and
  • Microsoft Windows 7 or 8.1

@Johann Multi-projector visuals is a niche market. In order for us to make a return on investment of our development time and customer service it requires purchase. Nthusim has been around since 2007. In that time over 2000 customers have purchased the driver utility.

Will it be free?

Thanks! With NTHUSIM being so niche a target audience, it's an uphill battle. Steam is a great place, I'd like to see NTHUSIM also be a part of it.
