Press and media:

"I was originally drawn towards Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! by its name and bright, cartoon art style. But then I found out that you can tell Cloud his Buster Sword is too huge and, well, now I love the idea of this game." - Siliconera

"Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! has a cutesy art style and offbeat premise going for it. That's plenty. I'm am down." - Destructoid

"I personally can’t wait to start building some badass weapons and taking over the potato universe." - GamesInAsia

  • Personalize your shop by adding furniture and decorations. They aren't just aesthetic - a well-furnished smithy will enhance and inspire better weapon-crafting.

@Hokuten IF this looks like a ripoff to Swords and Potions

Then Swords and Potions would be a rip-off of Recettear.

Recettear is almost guaranteed to be MUCH MUCH older than both this and Swords and Potions "2" (and 1, since there is a 2 there).

The Carpe Fulgar Westernized/translated version on steam, Is probably even older than Swords and potions, on it's own.

Recettear: An Item shop's tale, and Weapon Shop de Omasse are both billboarded as inspirations already as well, So clearly, they should be what the creators/devs were looking at and taking notes and/or aspects from when moldings their mechanics.
